It is speculated that there will be a third faction in 11.0 which will be called the tidesworn in charge of nightsqall, and What do I say there is a third faction apart from queen azshara and the ancient goddess xalath. The question is why can’t there be a pirate class? I would like to have the 3 pirate specialties Because if they didn’t know, pirates also have a healer specialty. There is a world to explode in the world of hacking.
I hope blizz has enough budget to make the upcoming 11.0 expansion a great pirate expansion.

Not speculated, rather a ‘‘leak’’ wink wink nudge nudge.
If mogs are anything to go by, we may have an adventure, sea style expansion.
I imagine Blizzard is going to try some more new things but keep the design of zones and open world stuff to a bare minimum just cause… you know… it’s blizz.
Honestly, I’d love to see the crafting order system more a niche thing and get professions back to crafting more stuff for the AH.
Update the main continents a bit - - rework questing and the open world to breath some life back into the world.
There is just something appealing when you can log in and know you have a full world to dive into instead of a few zones where there is nothing really of interest to do theme park style.

I don’t trust leaks or rumors but if clues in mogs or mounts are anything to go by as with past stuff, we may have a ‘‘bfa 2.0’’ but more adventuring and less battling against each other. Exploring some new zone that was talked about in DF I think and whatever else.

Wouldn’t be the first time. Gw2 released a dragon themed expansion a little (a few months actually) before Dragonflight.
The cosmic stories are never done well and just so over used at this point.

Eh… just play as an Outlaw rogue and you get the pirate class and theme?
In terms of allied races though I think a cool one would be a more humanoid version of nagas, just so they wouldn’t have to try to figure out what to do with the tail
