it wouldn’t matter , There is just a lot more horde than alliance .
the only solution is to hope horde quit game before you do .

I thought there was more alliance than horde, but a chunk of the alliance are not playing bgs at all.

only people who want to pvp rank really care about ques now.
I wish I had the sense to get my reputation then. It’s too much of a time investment for me to bother with the long bunker games now.
it’s nice to switch up the pve grind a bit but sitting in org for 30m holding my d between queues is driving me absolutely insane

I see people do three things to “deal” with queue.
A. Queue up then go farm some gold while you wait. Mining, herbalism, fishing, etc.
B. Queue up then go farm some HK’s. Typically infront of Thorium Point there’s 3-5 horde at any given time on Incendius roaming.
C. Download an addon that makes your WoW icon flash like Battlegrounds Taskbar Notifier when your queue pops. And watch a movie or show in the meantime.

remember all of P2 when alliance players had to spend an hour death crawling to BRM? Enjoy that queue, you knew it was coming.

I always thought that overall there were about equal numbers of H/A but that there are lots more active Horde pvp’ers.
This meant a couple things in Vanilla:
- Even with x-realms Horde had Q’s because they outnumber Ally combatants.
- Ally typically lose unless in AV or in a premade.
I solo’d rank 10 on a hunter in Vanilla and this was the meta we played back then. I lost most BG’s as a solo fighter from the Alliance unless I was in AV. Fine with that because I like being the underdog and short Q’s > Uber-leetness IMO.
Mileage may vary.
And how would that work ?
Right now there are more horde than alliance, no matter how many parts you break that into there are still bigger horde parts.

I’m going to call BS on your claim since your server (Incendius) is more than 50% horde.

My experience in Vanilla was quite different. I won most of my solo matches. Probably had something to do with me being extremely geared and two shotting everyone with my War. This attracts healers to follow you around, commonly winning matches.
You have an opinion on something you dont understand
OP you are shooting yourself in the foot. However I support your idea.
There is absolutely no downside to open faction changes. Alliance are saying “no” as a way of getting their revenge for P2 on SOME servers.
Alliance would get more players to PvE / PvP with, and Horde would get shorter queues.
If you want the game to survive, you can’t say “FU” to a huge part of the playerbase
Switch hands.
