As a 1080ti owner i am so happy i decided to have faith in my graphics card. If i purchased the 2000 series i would of been so frustrated with the release of the 3070.
I am just so happy i waited and did not pounce on the first upgrade that came out.
I’m thinking i’m just going to get a whole new PC with the 3070 seeing how good it is…
Seems like building a really good computer is finally somewhat affordable?

I have only bought amd cards since for my primary system for about 5 years now. No regrets but may switch to a 3080 if the opportunity presents itself and reviews validate nvidia’s performance claims
Whenever there is a new tech you never really want to be the first with it as most often all you are doing is paying to beta test something

I have one on an 8700k and have no reason to switch to the 3k series at this point. Maybe in a year or two.![:smirk: :smirk:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/smirk.png?v=9)
I upgraded from a 1080 Ti to a 2080 Ti in November 2018, shortly after the cards were released. I got two great years of service out of my card and I’m eager to upgrade to a 3080. I’m honestly excited that this level of performance will be so much more accessible to people!
Honestly I’m glad. But I didn’t wait by choice. I’ve been wanting to build for the past year.
The 1080 Ti is better for at least 3 more years. Beside even if you get the new card 30s , nothing but AMD can run it without bottleneck. You need to update your CPU and possible mobo too to avoid bottleneck.
Unfortunately they weren’t quite as accessible today as we all hoped
Hah, true. Either way, the next couple of months are looking like a great time for people to start upgrading.
