Oh man… that picture. When you see it side by side with the… what is that? The priest set? It just makes it look even more sad by comparison.

I feel bad because I know somebody somewhere worked hard on this but yikes.

so the helmet is clearly supposed to be the helmet of a character that appears pretty often on Hammerfall album covers. fun fact: Senior artist Samwise Didier has done several of these covers and the place Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands is named after the band

There has always been an art icon asset for this helmet in the game since vanilla, but there’s never been a helm that looks like it until now.

in an ideal world, this is EXACTLY how the sets should be BUT they should be equal ilvl too.

The incentive to raid/PVP should be the transmog not player power.

You not liking it doesn’t mean “they didn’t try.” Obviously.

That white version looks pretty nice. The sleeves are a bit strange, but only because it’s like the first time a non-paladin set has gotten anything like that.

Most of the gear in this game looks horrible so I’m not really shocked. I usually can’t stand most of the sets these days. Now back in 2009 or so these would be insanely good.

I see nothing wrong with that set. The OP’s complaint seems to mainly be about the coloration, which I can see as not being for everyone, but which is also going to have another 4-5 colorations. I think we’re going to be just fine.
