I’m curious as to how others are feeling in PvP with 10.1’s changes. I was optimistic for things like nightstalker being fixed and the way subtlety’s damage was being spread out a little beyond dance windows with things like the backstab and eviscerate buffs (even if they weren’t that huge). But then last night, during the one BG I had time for, it felt like burst and CC were crazy despite the changes made specifically to reduce both of those things. Granted, this could have been because I was wading way too far into enemy groups due to not being able to see nameplates of anyone but my target and therefore not being able to tell how bad the murder blender was just by eyeballing the team fights.
So what have your experiences been? Have they matched mine? Or have you found things better than they were before in any way?

my addons are updated so not seeing a nameplate problem anymore. Thankfully we have addons to fix what the small indie company cant correct as fast. I’m not feeling im sitting in CC that long. Damage is high but its not as bad as i thought it would be for sub. Im still getting use to having 2 evasions

Well, another night and another few BGs. Still feeling very much weaker than before and being pressured a lot more by many other classes. Not really feeling the backstab buffs or evis buffs or whatever. Nameplates are still broken since I don’t use a nameplate addon. Tried that cvar command floating around the PvP forum, but it doesn’t work.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Sub feels pretty awful to me once again as it has at far too many other points in the past. I guess it’s time to resign myself to this wonderful feeling of defeat all over again. At this point I’m not sure I trust Blizz to ever pick us up out of the trash for long before throwing us right back in.

I’ve noticed no daggers at the blood token gear npc for new season showing which kinda sucks as a assassination rogue lol

Sub feels underwhelming at best, outlaw just needs a bit more love and it’ll be decent.

I didnt think they buffed backstab, just evis and shadow strike?
Outlaw needs just like… another 5-10% damage on our abilities, and we’re golden.
Also Blind. Do… something about that. It feels awful to press now, and I’ve heard Blackjack isn’t working off of it, which just makes it even worse.

It went from being increased by 20% in PvP to 30%. You can see it in the patch notes here if you look in the PvP section.

Don’t worry though. It’s not something that you’ll really feel making an impact. At least I don’t. If anything, it feels like we’re back to the “stabbing people with pool noodles” era that sub has found itself in so often before more so than it did even after the nerf waves of 10.0 - 10.0.7.

Burst definitely feels potent as Sub right now. I’m eager to try it in arena. Although it’s definitely not a BG brawler spec - nor is it designed to be.

Gotta love dealing with the cbt that is balancing your shadow tech procs with echo, peak game play! Oh, what about all of my damage being baked into a single spell.
