The player should never have been locked down to a specific faction. We should be treated as 3rd party elements in the same way the Argent Crusade or other factions are.
Horde and Alliance should be a rep grind like every other one.

Surprised Baine recovered from being dropped by the Jailer
So what I get from this is Baine has PTSD? Does this sum this up?
Selective PTSD.
Pretty much. The Centaur slaughtered them to near extinction. Makes sense.
I have zero issue with turning these new centaur into rugs.
Yep, all races should have free faction choice, just like Pandaren. I hate the race division in this game and you never know, if the players in your party really enjoy the faction or if they just choose it because of certain races.
On topic, Iâm surprised the narrative is addressing this it at all. They just kind of ignored the Tauren/Centaur history in the initial leveling campaign.
Maybe my expectations are low, but color me impressed. They remembered something from Warcraft III.
Let me get my rep up with them first so I can get the loot.
I mean⌠we constantly had to kill the Zandalari during mop⌠look how that worked out. xD
Thatâs what Allied Races should have been. Grimtotem for Alliance, Defias for Horde, etc.
What a wasted opportunity on Blizzardâs part.
We had to kill them in Cataclysm, too. Donât forget that.
I beg you, PLEASE take him back!
Grimtotem for Alliance
Unfortunately Grimtotem are as fanatic as the Scarlet Crusade. They hate the other races, but their reasons are as similar and, as far as the story goes, understandable.
We should trade. Weâll take Baine back, but you have to take Calia.
I can live with that.
I mean honestly think about Baine. When was the last time he did ANYTHING in game that wasnât just him as an arbitrary plot point? The last time I remember was the war crimes book where baine is the attorney for garrosh but that wasnât in game. Baine isnât a leader, heâs just a lackluster figurehead and has been for about a decade now.
Excellent.
(As much as people rag on Baine, I guarantee everyone that itâs nothing compared to how many Horde players despise Calia.)

Aty this point I suggest we have a grand BBQ
