10.0.5 will prioritize tier sets to people who don't have tier pieces

Funny how this “bug” was discovered in beta, but wasn’t fixed until tons of people complained.

Make an alt for mogs only simple fix.

But they do need it.
For Transmog.

Unlocking appearances is a valid reason for rolling Need.
[Heck], during Personal Loot days I’d run LFR just to hustle for appearances I hadn’t collected previously.

Oh yeah, it’s totally realistic to make an alt, get it to 70 and gear it enough for lfr. Get the gear, then delete the character. So much better than just getting it on my main.
If a guildie needed set and we were doing LFR, I would happily take it from him, he can just run normal or heroic and get set with a meaningful ilvl.

So then how are we ever gonna get those transmogs? LFR colors are rarer than normal. >.>

Fair is “they put forth the effort (usually three or four people’s worth of effort) in, they deserve to be rewarded for their effort like everyone else”

Yep time to roll an alt to farm mogs with, good luck to everyone else cause im going to be half afk and completely useless like your average LFR player.

Its amazing the entitlement of some players, everyone has spent 40 minutes in LFR for different upgrades (mogs, ilvl, DE) but they think that they deserve everyone elses loot just because its an ilvl upgrade.

Mogs and gold lasts forever across multiple expansions while ilvl upgrades will probably just be vendored within a couple of weeks…

Especially considering that if players really cared about item level and output they’d be doing like mythic 3s or 4s for better gear and more damage.

LFR is one of the worst places to go for progressing your character

Like i get it, some players have no time because of RL and LFR is the only place for them to get tier atm but for them to feel entitled enough to complain on the forums about people stealing their gear is truly disgusting.

How someone else progresses their character outside of LFR is irrelevant, they’re basically saying since ive been a lazy POS i deserve all the loot anyone else that thinks differently is a toxic elitist gatekeeping us :man_facepalming:

Oh okay so you view it as stealing so that must be what it is. Grow up. At the end of the day, transmog is forever. And people are allowed to roll on it.

Or better yet wait until the next explanation and do the solo LFR mode they always put into the game for trasmog. instead of taking it from players that do LFR for their end game.

Wait a couple of years and go in and do them solo for the mog? Like most people do.

People rolling on lower level gear for mog when others are trying to get the pieces that they actually need to play seems a bit…selfish…maybe?

Correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not that current on raiding etiquette.

Well there isn’t really etiquettes for LFR,

Most of the common rules only apply to premade groups that have a mutual understanding and a shared goal. When youre dealing with 30+ strangers that you have no control of anything goes.

There are people there for upgrades and there are people there for mogs. Everyone puts in the same amount of time so to say one persons loot is more important than anothers is a bit cringe…

But Blizzard agrees with the ilvl upgrade crowd over everyone else so it is what it is :person_shrugging:

It actually works out better for me as im still rocking 2 piece but im expecting to see higher determination stacks and longer LFR runs now there is no reason for geared people to participate.

So, we must equip green items to get the transmog now? Blizzard always catering to the bad players, instead of focusing on the people who actually plays the game.

I wouldn’t say its a cringe, I would say it’s subjectively relative.

Take me for example: due to having only limited playtime atm as Im recovering from surgery, my main toons are not yet high enough level to do LFR. It will take me a fair bit of time (given my very limited access to the game) to even get to the level where I can do LFR. If I were to get in and find someone who had much more access to good gear, was beating me out of things I could really use to advance my play, just so they can (very occasionally, if ever) change the look of something they already have well…I wouldn’t be very impressed.

Why not just wait until the raids can be solo’d, for transmog? Its not like its all that different from what they already have, and why would someone with higher level gear even want to look like they are wearing LFR gear?

Yes “bad” players. let’s ignore the fact that casual players are the ones keeping the game going. not raiders or M+ players.

I definitely understand where you’re coming from id be livid and maybe be on the verge of quitting the game if some 410 ilvl dude rolled a 30 ilvl downgrade just for a colour variation of a piece of gear they already had. That is why Blizzard is changing it…its devastating emotionally when something like that happens.

Because you’re a stranger and they don’t care about you.

Like I’m sure your friends would pass or even roll need to give it to you and vice versa.

You’re a very nice guy and that’s why you probabaly wouldn’t understand this but being selfish gets you ahead in alot of situations and you can sometimes really benefit from it and being selfish to strangers has no downside to it i mean you’re never going to see them again.

The guys that GD think are selfish for rolling need and getting mogs just made their own progression the other scenario is letting a complete stanger have it and gain nothing themselves.

There are people that actually just roll to watch others agonize though, that is pure evil.
