$15 dollars back for a day of lost time is VVVEEEERRRRRYYYYYYYY extreme. I understand the frustration but damn that is unreasonable.
Blizz just wanted to give us a real classic experience
Thank you so much for the share. I wonder why this posted this on WOW Head instead of the Forms. But at least this helps clear things up and give some information to the community. I do wonder if this real is the issue but that might be going too far into conspiracy land.
No point in arguing with this guy his brain no workie. He can’t comprehend some things I think they used the machine of unspeakable doom on him.
We told them you rushing this tbc thing. Many fans still wanted another month or two of classic.
Now they want to connect realms not knowing player counts even, and rush tbc. Really greedy dumb decisions… one after another.
And many fans didn’t what’s your point?
How long have the conversations about this being too rushed been going on within the community?
I’m still trying to put all this together myself.
I didn’t play much of this expac in fact i skipped the entire thing, but I’ll try my best from what I remember.
So Garrosh is set to stand trial in Pandaria because Taran Zhu or whatever his name was demanded it even though let’s be honest the dude screwed over the horde and ally more than he did the Pandarens. Anyways a Bronze drake helps him escape for reasons I forgot and he’s sent to an alternate timeline draenor and then kills the bronze drake cuz lol. He and his Krack-corns start taking the place over shaping a new horde, the legion are there but I’ll get to that later. Draenai are being slaughtered, the big orc names that we know of from the lore are here and we get to fight them which was honestly a very neat concept. You know like Bladefist and junk. Some of the orc clans are on your side (horde) like the Laughing Coke Head clan.
So then we build outposts and this is where the whole “OH MY GOD YOU’RE SO AWESOME AND COOL CHAMPION” trope started and was executed poorly imo cause you can make a story around the player character and them being powerful, but Blizz couldn’t do it properly sadly, so we’re the leader now and we do things and then Garrosh gets found and Thrall is like “Mak’gora!!”
Oh yeah I forgot to mention Thrall rejoined the horde in BFA as the orc leader, but he rerolled Warrior for a reason I’m about to tell you.
So during Mak’gora he is losing because Garrosh is just physically stronger, so Thrall uses his shaman magic to literally blow him up with lightning, which as you know magic is against the rules of Mak’gora. So the elements are like “Dude wtf?” and ditch Thrall forcing him to reroll warrior in i think Legion or BFA, point is he’s not a Shamman anymore.
So Garrosh is dead we win right? End of expac? Nah Legion came in and at the head of the legion is the tree diddler himself Archimonde and Grom Hellscream is captured and we rescue him despite him having the blood of dranaei women and children on his hands, and then beat up Archimonde who goes “Get pwned Gul’dan” and shoves Gul’dan into our timeline world for a Legion expac and then Grom goes “YEAH WE DID IT!!” to which the orcs and Draenai cheer and celebrate despite Grom having literally skull diddled the Draenaei women and families. And then WoW died because holy jesus did WOD make the sub numbers go down into the double digits.
Oh yeah Khadgar is there too
Fail is what you get when you rush, and lose goodwill. That’s the point.
People took vacations to play, lost day for a lot of people.
Then that there stupidity for taking vacation for a prepatch and should full well know at this point to not do that on patch days right? It’s been over 15 years of this now if at this point you don’t know it’s your fault for doing foolish things.
that sucks man hope its not too bad of a hangover and you get some decent play time
I do find this too be an issue, as if you just logged into ANY server when the AH was down you would have seen how much trade chat was being blown up with trades, sells, and so on.
This should have been thought about and really considered prior to this issue we are having now and from my understanding the community was warning them about this as well.
But I guess you can also make the argument that hindsight is 20/20.
Maybe a good solution would have been to close down all mailing service for 2 hours prior to the servers going down? Maybe also making a server announcement about it before hand and asking players to get their mail?
That is about the best solution I can think of.
Again there was just as many who are ready to move on of course you heard that as the majority as that is what you want. I literally resubbed Friday and all I heard is people on my server ready to move on. Fact is doesn’t matter as no one on this forum is in control if when or of they launch anything the sooner people realize this the better time they will have.
They should have definitely told people clear your mailboxes or it may be lost especially of you plan on staying in classic.
its 12 pdt now
