I prefer 10 and 25 man raids. Idk if I would like to go up to 40 man. If the cycle is only going to last a year, bosses would either need to drop more loot, or you would need to scale down raid sizes.
Itll be 40s still. They’d have announced if it were going to change so people could form guilds around it.
It would be nice if they were able to scale vanilla 40 man raids down to 25 for this iteration if only because, and assuming all 40 people actually manage to like each other enough to stick together into TBC, 15 people are going to suddenly find themselves looking for another guild one TBC drops. Not about to count chickens but it’s a nice to think about at least.

Thats a great point, keeping the number will definitely help transition into tbc.

25 would be ideal. 40 is hard to manage a roster around. I wouldn’t be opposed to the flex raid sizes that scale with more bodies

Trueeeee flex raid would be so useful. I keep forgetting flex raiding became a thing in later expansions.
They aren’t going to make these kinds of changes. The changes they’re making have clearly been planned.

Stop being under the impression that you have to end each phase being full bis. That has never ever ever ever been the way the game is designed.
I think its safe to assume that since its coming out in a week, nothing is getting added. So you guys can put away your pitchforks and chill out while we wait. Its really not that big of a deal.
No, guild banks should definitely be a thing. Having to keep track of X number of bank alts and what is stashed where is such a chore and really inconvenient. It won’t happen but again, it’s nice to think about. Something to look forward to with TBC.

I don’t think it’s possible to not be full BIS if you do MC every week from December until Spring when BWL is supposed to launch.
That’s 12-14 clears.
This is a self report. Elaborate how you get 6-8 caut bands when you only see 1 per every 5 weeks, if that. Vanilla is designed so that you will almost always be 3-4 slots off of bis by the time the next patch rolls around, because of how contentious select items are. I raided MC literally every week of 2020 and never ever got a Band of Accuria because literally every rogue, every hunter, and every warrior wants it.
Stop trying to turn classic into sod. If anything we should have 80 man raids

Band of Accuria is not even remotely a significant upgrade.
You’re talking about a 0.4% damage increase.
Nobody should ever care about that.
