Y’all got what you asked for in 8 new servers immediately and now like 10 are low pop - do we think they’ll pick up again? I’m certainly hoping cause I’m on two low pop servers now but this is why I didn’t want to see so many added.

Considering some realms have queue’s at 9 am on a work day. I think we are okay.

Yes there are a couple medium high and full as well
My friend, it’s 6am Pacific. All those servers will be queued today. Rest assured of that.

God I can’t stand my irl friends and their insistance we play Herod. 20 minute queue at 8 am

I think it’s a bit too early to be certain yet. It’s only Day 2 and it’s also early in the morning. Your diehards are up early to play, but the bulk of the playerbase is probably still snoozing or just rolling out of bed.
Check how they look by mid day and that’ll be a more accurate representation.

The real death of servers will come from the doomsayers. Insistent that the new realms will die, it will scare away new people. Itll become a self fulfilling prophecy in the end.

blizzard is intentionally setting all the servers to low pop - not sure why. There were servers that were medium pop with queues, this makes no sense. Mark faerlina and herod as “full” and bump the other ones up.
This. People need to stop discouraging folks from rolling on low/medium realms.
Blizz claims that the size of a Medium now is larger than the most full realm in Vanilla. Hopefully all of these queues are not fruitless.

I saw that this morning. You think it’s possible that they changed the algorithm relative to other realms?
Also - could it be that they expanded the layer count per server?
I sat in my server queue for 5 hours last night before I got to play.
When I logged off this morning…at 530am it was low pop. I fully expect to be in a queue during prime time again tonight.
There was a blue post. Due to extremely large populations of people on like Herod, for example. The sever population algorithms are not accurately representing the servers, at least to what we would expect.

Blue posted about it last night. The algorithm that controls realm status is still off and they will be working on it too get it to represent the status more accurately.

I tried to play on Whitemane yesterday but the queue Boss kept wiping my friend group. Some switched to Sulfuras after east coasters were in bed. There’s three more of us going to join Sulfuras today. Give it a few days to work out before we panic.
