Okay, I get it. new players should start at level one. but if you have multiple max level characters, can the non Allied races start at level 10? I mean really, the drive to go through the same starting quests that have been around for over a decade isn’t high and more of a deterrent to go though.
I actually would like to see this as well, it’s a big reason I tend to make more allied races than standard ones, just because I don’t have to go through either the racial starting zone or exile’s reach, both of which get tedious feeling after the second or third time.
It’s just 10min… I am an altoholic and go through that island at least… 4 times a week?
I don’t know about lvl10 but an option to just dump you out in Stormwind/Orgrimmar would be nice, even if at lvl1.
Agreed. Allied Races starting at level 10 is such a minor thing, but it skips the “unlocking features” part of the game, which feels nice as a long-time player. It’s not a HUGE deal, as it only takes like 30 minutes to blast through to level 10, but it’s just boring.
There’s no need for Allied Races to be 30-minutes more special than core races. Just slap a 3rd box on the starting zone screen. Exiles Reach (new players), Racial Starting Zone (existing players starting at level 1), Faction Capital City (existing players starting at level 10).
I’d also argue that specific races and Hero Classes getting to skip ahead (while others can’t) is just inherently a dumb idea and shouldn’t happen, but it’d be awkward to change that now as their intro questing is based around it.
On this note, can we also get a skip for core race DKs, that starting zone is just annoying as well and leads me to the same thing, making an allied race DK just to avoid it.
You can get a 60 level skip for the right price
