10 Legion Dungeons- Artifact Challenge Mode Color Variants

I obtained the Feral Druid Artifact Challenge Mode Appearance during Legion, I want to unlock the other color variations. One of the requirements is to clear 10 Legion Dungeons.

This article states “You are no longer required to use your current specialization’s hidden or challenge artifact appearances to gain progress towards unlocking its 3 color variants. You can now gain progress towards unlocking the 3 color variants of these appearance sets while you are in any spec and using any artifact appearance. While any artifact appearance may be used, you must have at least unlocked the base appearance for any given spec.”

I ran 10 different Legion dungeons all on mythic difficulty and it did not unlock the color for me. I can’t even open a ticket about it because there’s no proper category to open it under. Help?

Were you using an artifact appearance for your weapon 'mog? From the wording, it seems like that’s still required; it just doesn’t have to be the one that matches your spec.

Just making sure, is that the character that earned the appearance in the first place? I’m fairly certain it’s still locked to that limitation at the least.

It was on the character who has the Legion appearance, right?

You might have to actually have the artifact weapon equipped.

Yes I was in balance form but I had the Feral Artifact equipped and I also selected the Challenge Mode appearance through the Artifact tree (but my feral form through the barber shop was different)
