Not an advanced boomie here but If you are using starlord you should track it and base your starsurges on it. I believe you want to keep starlord between 2 and 3 stacks. Adding a stack when there is 6 or less seconds is probably not worth it. In that example save the starsurge to restart starlord after it expires. Unless you are capping AP.
Neither. Dreamgrove.gg
Dreamgrove.gg will provide you with a wealth of knowledge for the different talents to take into raid and M+ as well as the general rotation for our feathery selves.
The cardinal rules for boomkin are as follows:
-Don’t cap astral power (ASP)
-Don’t cap empowerment’s
-Pool ASP prior to movement
Another factor that plays a part in our single target are the Azerite traits you possess. You should be trying for 3 Streaking Stars (StrS) and 1 Arcanic Pulsar (AP) as a minimum.
Das it mane.
Im 380ish too and this is what i do. I can out damage i400 players in mythics ive been in
For me balance is 2nd only to lock.
Balance has been very good to me. Dreamgrove is excellent, but TDLR is essentially don’t cast the same thing twice except when canceling starlord aura at near full AP and burst into 2 stacks from starsurges. Then build to 40 AP and star surge again and hold off star surges until you have 90+ AP. Cancel aura and repeat.
Doesn’t don’t cast the same thing twice only apply if you have Dawning Sun trait?
No. Streaking stars and that only applies during incarn/CA.
This is not how to play starlord with cancel macro. Once you reach 3 stacks you continue using your normal rotation including using starsurge until you have 8 seconds left on buff. Once you are in the 8 second remaining window is when you begin pooling AP and holding off on SS and cancel at 87+ AP.
