Hi there! I’m curious to know your opinion on this question.

Which class/spec is the best when it comes to 1 vs 1 duels?

My experience leads me to believe that it is feral druids, but I’m a frost mage, so I’m a bit biased.

Depends on if you are talking about in an arena setting where you have los and dampening or open world.

nah not ww. I would’ve said ww maybe for legion when their port was 20sec and healed for 20% or more max health and their para was also very low cd. But even then feral would’ve won.

But right now, probably feral 1min convoke

I’ll tell you right now in arena 1 dance sub will beat feral so it’s not feral there. In open world idk.

Ferals have always been incredible duelers however in the many 1v1 tournaments I’ve seen (arena setting), I’ve seen them lose to monks and rets.

I don’t know what would be the best at this moment but I can definitely say that monks and ferals are among the top. Savix seems to be a pretty insane dueler on his ret and the aforementioned story leads me to believe they’re also a contender.

I’d be surprised if ele wouldn’t also perform well.

Anyone can lose to a monk or Ret due to RNG pretty much these days.

They are not the only ones either :slight_smile:

Rogue. Monk. Or feral. Probably. Spriests are up there too if Los isn’t around. If it is they still are just not as kuch

WW Monk is one of the best 1v1 specs if you learn and master your utility. It’s not uncommon for under-geared WWs winning duels or clutching arena matches because of the utility of the spec and smart control of the enemy. Teleport and Karma alone can completely change the outlook of a fight. They also have short CDs for the most part so they can put pressure on more often to keep you using up your own utility. The best mobility in the game, with the ability to have two slow breakers and one root breaker on short CDs. Add in their healing, sap, and stun, a knock back with slow, a spam-able melee slow, and an interrupt of course. They can turn their Fists of Fury into a melee defensive that grants high parry and a big slow. They have a Mortal Strike built into their RSK, high cleave and single target burst, and an execute that’s unsurvivable. Their only real downsides are their squishiness, and their lack of consistent damage.

It depends on what they go up against, but I’m VERY sure that the best dueling class is Necro Feral and then in no particular order; mage, rogue, possibly warlock and ret
