I just find the game fun. Great great fun.
There will never be an expansion to wipe away all the efforts I have spent getting what I got.
It should help pass a little time until Burning Crusade rereleases.
I want some of the old features back like talents and more freedom of weapon choices, something Blizzard never should of removed in the expansions, they don’t feel like their expanding the game anymore, they feel like their removing choices.
What happens next expansion, they remove stats and levels? It sounds so silly when you say it out loud until it happens…
To do all the Horde questing in Azeroth that I never got around to before Cataclysm made the world go kablooey. That’s pretty much anything 25+.

Immersion.
The biggest and only reason I need to play Classic is its consistency. What I do in the game will remain relevant for as long as the game is online. It’ll remain the exact same game forever and that is something that retail can never offer.
Some people need that hamster wheel. For those people there is retail. For those like me there’s Classic.
They’ll finally get the order right and release WotLK before Crusade.
But in the event it’s unspoiled Classic, because I would finally be “on par” with the rest of the playerbase in dps output or tank skill.
Mostly to ignore all the failures of my real life and simulate a sense of accomplishment through my in-game successes and then when I log off every night I rush to my bed as fast as I can so that I can go to sleep before any thoughts creep into my head reminding me that Classic WoW raids are the most accomplished I’ll ever be in life.
Just that pretty much.
So I don’t have to keep coming to check this forum.
Because BFA is literal garbage, but I still want to play WoW.
I want to play it because I find the game fun.
Because private servers are a dystopian hellscape.
Because of its laid-back nature. It will be nice to log in and just go about whatever I feel like doing at the moment. Unlike retail where I log in and I’m bombarded with world quests, dailies, weekly’s, artifact power/azurite grind, rep grinds, conquest bar, honor level, etc…
And yes, I know some of those are in classic, but I don’t feel like they are crammed down your throat like they are now. It will be a much more relaxing experience and pace.
To encourage the developement of TBC and WOTLK stand alone servers as well.
Same, when I played before Cata I was around 8 and there’s little to nothing I remember lol
I long for a drawn out experience that I haven’t really had since TBC. I want to go from one rung of the ladder to the other till I get to the end.
