#1 prot paladain win-trading into themselves

Hello and good morning!

The #1 protection paladin on the ladder, Gemd-Moon Guard played into another protection paladin on his own account early this morning. He went 5-1 into Wooholy.

This first of the games played by Wooholy-Area 52 going 1-5, the second (and same) games of Gemd-Moon Guard at the same time, but going 5-1.

The log history and games played can be seen easily on drustvar or checked with gameplay logs.

This person has two protection paladins on the SAME battlenet, as evidence by their profiles with the exact same achievements and pets:

The profiles for Gemd-Moon Guard and Wooholy-Area 52 can be easily looked up on the wow armory or any of the pvp websites.

Please ban this person for obvious win-trading into themselves from separate accounts on the same battlenet.

Even for prot paladins this is low.

Death, taxes and the prot pala shuffle ladder being manipulated. :dracthyr_a1:

It’s just so egregious. Not even making a new account, not even having a friend subtly throw but people feel so confidant that blizzard won’t ban them that they just queue into their own bnet in shuff/blitz.

Or they make a throwaway bnet and AFK on it when they match vs main.

Take screenshots of all that and send it to the hacks email. The moderators here don’t have any power in game they’re more likely to ban you for “call outs”

I already emailed the proof to blizzard. I also sent in logs of the #2 prot, Andreinator also playing into himself and giving himself 6-0 lobbies over the past few weeks.

What’s wild is that Prot pala matchmaking has worked like this since SL

and they’re only just fixing it next season by making them work like the other tanks (replace a dps with a limit of 1 tank per game)

I had this guy in my BGB last night. I’m not sure how these people get away with it. If I was Blizzard I would ban these guys for 6 months first offense. Perma on the second.

Given the prot changes next patch for how they are now just a dps in shuffle I’m hoping that they are letting all the wintrading prots waste their time this season only to be nuked after rewards go out

Yeah. Ban these guys and mingfar for abusing the system and perma wintrading and griefing!!!

Optimistic. :dracthyr_a1: I also expect a certain druid in blitz of the restoration in variety will not be stripped of anything despite the mayhem caused on multiple accs.

Just some actual lawlessness in ranked.

I appreciate that they sometimes do a ban wave end of season but wish it was a little more whack a mole because of the damage being caused during the season

the only way you are gona get him banned is if you catch him saying a bad word in chat. You think this dev team cares about 0.001% of the playerbase? They are hard at work making some more butt ugly skins for the trader shop.

A bit of a “thanks, I’m cured” when it comes 5 months later (or not at all). :dracthyr_a1:

They did in shadowlands. :dracthyr_shrug: It’s not like they lack the capacity but I imagine the bean counters decided that it just wasn’t worth it.

Crazy that thousands of years of evolution led to this level of pathetic human behavior. Zero chance the dude is anything but a massive loser irl.

Sad thing though is that blizzard probably won’t do anything about it, because at the end of the day it’s an extra sub they’re getting for every loser that does this :frowning:

Banning players is more profitable because it means they gotta 1) buy new xpac 2) game time 3) spend time or boost a char (or use gold to buy a boost usually from a token)

Because lord knows anybody who gets 6 monthed is back in-game within the day

ah true, I forgot that most of us are addicts lol

It was always a really bad idea for prot paladin to have their own pseudo bracket within shuffle. They’re legitimately playing a different game mode than the rest of the bracket, and on top of that, nobody is prepared to queue into their lobby. It’s a good thing that they’re getting brought back in to the rest of the ladder.

I heard alot of Tanks can do win trading, but just out of curiosity, is this bannable?

It kind of made sense when all tanks replaced healers and both teams got one but now not so much yeah. :dracthyr_nod:

Isn’t it just amazing that Blizzard can’t detect even THIS guy doing it? But like integrity of ladder or something lmaoooooo.

This was one of the wildest things I heard from that PirateSW guy, that Blizzard does them once every x amount of months to catch as many cheaters as possible. I think he quoted 6 months? So cheaters just wreak havoc on the game or bracket for 6 months lmao
