Please give us one fresh no changes server. We have waited and we have endured the years of “fun changes” servers in the wake of classic launch. Can we please just have one server without changes that fundamentally change the meta of classic. Dual spec changes everything. Classes like Druid that benefit from specs that allow them to play more than one role now are even further diminished in the meta when bis classes can now easily flex roles. What role do hybrids even play in vanilla when meta specs can just change whenever they want based on the fight. The consequence of your choice to run any particular spec is diminished by the ability of anyone to have multiple loadouts at all times.
One of the great strengths of classic is the impact of decisions when building your character. This change reduces that and makes picking a spec a relatively unimportant decision.
If these changes are confirmed please consider adding a no changes server for those of us who still want to play the original iteration of the game.

No changes players also understand the importance of fresh servers and have also waited almost 5 years for their arrival. But thank you for commenting and helping raise awareness for the necessity to provide servers for a significant portion of the classic community that have been underserved for 5 years.

how will they farm gdkps on fresh without it
Bosses in classic die in like 30 seconds. I saw guilds using dummies to tank bosses that fell over before they all died. Youre worried about classes that can pick between one or two specs that literally moves like 3 talent points? Seems disingenuous to me.
Most people only use dual spec to be able to flex between roles. Not so much 3 talent points.
If someone wasn’t gonna pick a druid because there’s dual spec, he still would not pick a druid with no dual spec in the game.
It’s not disingenuous to suggest that altering character build progression and reducing the impact of meaningful player choices significantly alters the meta of the game. Every mage is always going to have an aoe farms specs. Every rogue is pvp spec. Really it’s meta specs that are going to benefit the most. Hybrid classes that could thrive in their ability to flex roles are going to be hit the hardest.

this takes away from people playing the game how they want. people dont like that. if the stay at home dad with 4 warriors running gdkps all day has fewer people to sell gold to because people have qol and can farm and raid w.o spending 100g a week on that alone, how will he have everything he wants while the plebs have less to nothing.

Personally I don’t want to be like the #nochanges crowd that attacks us for really obvious QoL changes that should be made for the modern gamer on these fresh servers.
So with that said, give these trolls what they want… just wipe out one of the many many other dead Era/SoD/Cata servers and give them there little server.
As someone planning to main a druid, who LOVED the 30/21 feral/resto spec for the majority of classic, I’m all good with this change. Being able to switch to the MOST effective version of my character for the type of content I’m playing multiple times a day if I want to is one of the best changes. Being able to pvp, then dungeons, then pvp again all in an evening is 100% the best way.
the real elephant in the room, is qol improves the game for EVERYONE while nerfing the control the FEW have on how the entire game is played.
its upsetting the balance and there are those that do not want that.

This post is about dual spec not gdkp. Thank you for your reply. Changes that alter player progression and character builds significantly alter the meta and change the game. We have all waited for fresh classic wow. We have had years of fun changes servers after 5 years it’s finally time to provide fresh vanilla to those that are still here waiting for it.
Hybrid classes dont exist in different roles. Who are u talking about? Paladins playing tank? No one takes them seriously. Hybrids is a terrible take as most people meme on them because of players like you who dont want them to get even the slightest change. God forbid they ask for a taunt, because “meaningful choices.” Puh-lease. None of u no changers even care about hybrids lol
Hybrid class in classic are gonna suffer no matter what, at least with no debuff/buff cap they are gonna be more relevant. Hybrid build is stupid anyway, who want to play a half strong version of their class, if I want to play a resto druid, i want to be the most proficient resto druid, if i want to go feral, i want to do the most damage possible.
I don’t understand what make me a troll. You guys can have your changes server if that’s what you want. I’m just asking that blizzard provide no changes for those that have been waiting 5 years for it. Give us one server.
That definitely isnt going to be good for the population…the people against these changes are in the vocal minority lol the “no dualspec” server is going to be overlooked by the dualspec

Then why not just open a no changes server for us since the two parties are diametrically opposed. We have all waited 5 years for fresh. The no changes crowd have waited longer than anyone. Just provide a server option without game altering changes.

I would love that. I would play there and leave all these ridiculous “modern” people to it 
I think there’s a good chance we’ll get the RPvP server people want at least. It’ll happen sometime after launch, maybe I’ll switch there. I just don’t want to play with most of you people.
