Ya, I enjoy the mechanics, they are creative. They just need to target nerf the health and enrage timers.

I feel like the consensus I have been hearing is the mechanics, story and ambience of the raid are great but the amount of trash and enrage timers are frustrating. Additionally some people seem disappointed with the leather and mail tier designs. Plate set looks great imo. Additionally the last 3 bosses represent a significant challenge for even the most competent groups.
Trash seems to be in a better place with the nerfs and as people are learning skips but enrage timers could use a second look. I am curious if ICC style buffs will help progression as I see a lot of dooming in the forums. Some of this is warranted and some a bit over the top.
The cloth sets look amazing. The mail ones look like butt.

SOD developers are putting in too much power creep. The raid will be doable with tier sets & few more nerfs etc. But it will be too late when that happens (too many people will quit from frustration).
They are actively killing the playerbase like this cause its rly hard to organise pugs with 30-40 people & guilds that were 20 man are very disincentivized atm.
Same happened with Sunken temple going from 10 man to 20 man
We are having to pug up to 30 in order to clear some bosses. This is absolutely crazy and we need more nerfs. People in my guild are contemplating quitting the game because of how this raid feels. At itâs essence, it is against everything that classic is.
More and more people will quit without further nerfs. Keep the final boss difficult, sure, but boss 3, 4, etc shouldnât required 30-40 people.
Council just feels like a total wall right now. Either nerf the health, or extend the enrage timer. The mechanics are fine, it just really sucks to hit a wall due to DPS despite rolling over the first 5 bosses with no issues. This is with a group of 25 Naxx/AQ geared players. The only options right now are either zerg it with as many people as you can, or bring a specific comp of ranged DPS that can multi-dot everything. Felt like a waste of time and gold.
Ive beat council 9 times now and every kill was by a sliver. We had maybe 2-3 deaths on the kill. Really cant have anyone die to get it.
A lot of guilds are trying to pick up new people rn
Idk if there is enough players to pick. Probably have more people quit before joining another raid team
