1 month into dragonflight… still no stance bug

Why are we this far in and they haven’t removed the bug that you get stuck in no stance after hitting your stance keybind a 2nd time?

its not a bug, you’re not stuck, theres a 3 second cooldown so stop hitting your stance keybind randomly, this is fixable in 30 seconds with a macro

A lack of stance is not a bug, it’s you not having a macro/using the ability wrong and turning the stance off.

#showtooltip
/cast [stance:2] Defensive Stance; [stance:1] Berserker Stance

Keybind that and you’re good to go (obviously change text to battle if arms).

If you ever did drop stance, this macro wouldn’t work. Needs an additional fire at the end.

Can’t remember if stance:0 is no stance, if so you could use [stance:0/1] Berserker stance instead. Not at home to test

If you wanted to get technical, you can use the known conditional to have the same macro for battle and zerker, but I don’t feel like rewriting that on my phone

theres never been an option to be in no stance until dragonflight, so yes its a bug, theres literally no point in being in no stance.

So because it wasnt a feature previously it cant be one now? That is silly.

So, as much as i hate it, i do enjoy being in an arena, wondering why my damage feels off, only to then click fury and here Deja vu by euro beat play in the background as i start doing WAY more damage.

While I don’t disagree that not having a stance is a dumb “feature”, a simple weakaura that warns you of missing stances will help a lot. Addons win again.

Not being rude or a jerk. I agree it is annoying. Simple fix, pay attention.

Hekilli will show that you should get into a stance if not in one. It will also help you hit the buttons in the right order. It’s usually 122122122 with 3 thrown in but not always. Sometimes you should hit 4.
