He intentionally AFK’d for an hour straight. That’s an abuse and we know this is not their intended result even though its a mess.

System? Both zergs run past each other in AV. The horde AND alliance purposely avoid each other. If you want battles, try attacking us instead of just letting us ride by.

It takes 80 to tango here mate. Also, why would anyone tank their honour earned per hour by choosing to pvp in a pvp instance when you can just ride past each other and get your pve on? Trying to put the blame on horde for not engaging alliance is completely missing the core problem.

But why would people do that when it’s far more effective to let the BG end in 10 minuets, if Blizzard wants players to fight then it should be incentivized not punishing.

AFK farming, exploiting, premade dodging, 40v5 world pvp, camping FPs, camping instance portals, safespotting- thing is, we can go on and on about what pvp isn’t intended to be, what it shouldn’t be.
But if Blizz isn’t doing anything- we’re also listing all the things that the rank 14 players are doing.

The obvious “fix” would be to add in a set of doors at the final boss locations for each faction that would only open after certain objectives are completed. But this isn’t going to happen.

I’m just upset that our whole guild went from being the top of the bracket world pvping to being in the middle, losing to no ranks, that afk, bot, or are account sharing in AV earning more honor than a WSG premade that could win every 7 minutes. Wooooo

I actually wouldn’t change anything myself on the basis of someone who admits to cheating both his employees and the members of their team.
Welp, if that is truely the only solution, then AV will forever remain a 10 min HP farm, because players won’t want to loose HP/hr and fall behind the HP grind.
This is the same problem as the wpvp phase. People are going to do what gives the best rewards. You need to fix the system or else people will just spam AV. I can’t believe classic is going to have almost no real pvp. AV shouldn’t even give any honor since it’s not really pvp. People get mad at you if you even stop to fight people.

Honor gains are fine. If you want PVP you will do WSG. If you want to just farm honor, you’ll do AV. 
I tend to do both. Picking off stragglers alliance side and crushing Lts/Commanders, and burning bunkers is fun.
