The “systems” are what were in place for the original TBC. Players had a faction choice. Choose the faction with better PvP racials or the faction with better queue times.
No point crying about your choice now. It is what it is .

When classic vanilla rolled over to classic tbc, you and your friends all had the perfect opportunity to reroll alliance. You chose to stay as horde. You are just like the 20 other horde pvpers that come on the forums every day whining about queue times. The solutions are simple. Reroll alliance for fast queues or stay horde and have terrible queues. It’s never going to get better and will probably get worse in wotlk.

look at all these alliances saying that there is no problem here, everything is normal and fine and working as intended… meanwhile probably grinding the gear to get the edge
Considering 60% of the top 100 arena teams in 2s and 3s are horde I’m going to say your narrative is false.
They are doing just fine not having full res.

There’s no such thing as merc mode in TBC Classic, nor should there be. The only “solution” on Blizzard’s part is Horde to Alliance faction transfers. Anyone willing to be part of the solution will transfer, and anyone unwilling to budge can be labeled the hypocrites that they are

You realize you only continue to give them an edge by giving them more honor for doing what they’re already doing right? You get one game with more honor, they get 3 games to your one game with even more honor. It won’t have the impact you think it will.

Last thing you want is someone able to queue more often than you getting even more honor than you. It won’t give you the fix you think it will. You know what this also means? People on Horde who aren’t currently PvPing because they feel honor isn’t worth wait time will start to also queue, meaning your times will stay the same if not increase.
its completely fair. You chose the faction that has a higher population in pvp because everyone knows the racials give an unfair advantage… as a result theres not enough alliance (the hardmode pvp faction) to queue against and so you have to take turns with your little horde hivemind handicap racial buddies to get games. Please cry more, as a CHAD ALLIANCE player im loving it.

Many horde make threads wanting Blizzard to “fix” the “issue” rather than be honest with themselves and realize they are the issue. People will make a thread, but if Blizzard gave them xfers, they wouldn’t do it. They expect OTHERS to solve the issue.
Hurry Blizzard, PLEASE allow willing Horde to xfer, can’t say how many QQ threads I’ve seen by people who admit they would never transfer and never play alliance.

Humans gain reputation faster. This equates to less time spent playing TBC. It is BiS.
Pretty sure nothing of value in PvP is locked behind reputation
The faster I get my heroics unlocked the faster I can queue 10 games and raid log. weSmart
To be honest with you. I played Original TBC and the first day of arena season I had full pvp gear in every slot, as horde, with queues. I didn’t have to grind it, Bg’s were fun, I don’t remember playing against a single premade and I’m pretty sure I would have remembered if I was only getting 500 honor per game.
Horde were the minority faction on most servers in TBC. Queues were just a thing back then because it was all isolated to your own server.
Most smaller PvE servers did not have people running premades.
I was on a PVP server and we had BG queues all through vanilla, the prepatch , and TBC. Roughly 15 minute queues IIRC.
You did get matched up against premades occasionally, but for the most part, pug v pug bg’s were always enjoyable and commonplace. In the pre-patch and in TBC the honor gain felt rewarding, unlike the mess that is Classic and TBC today.
Playing BG’s in the 6 week pre-patch with the new talents and easily farmable HWL gear was probably the most fun I ever had playing BG’s in wow. I’ve played every expansion and started playing about 1 month after vanilla release.
It’s a real shame Blizzard messed up so hard with the TBC pre-patch and battlegrounds. Everyone that didn’t get to experience the real thing is just getting cheated.
