Can we stop backfilling AV? I’m getting sick and tired of waiting almost 1.5 hours to finally enter AV only to realize that it’s been going on for over 30 mins and my max bonus honor is cut in half. Congrats to the Alliance for killing AV and possibly Classic WoW with their need to pre-made AV.
Don’t blame alliance players for the state of AV. Blame the pvp minmaxers that stacked the horde and blizzard for adding changes to what should of been a museum piece.

It’s absolutely the Alliance fault. They are the groups that started the whole premade AV meta instead of just solo queueing like the Horde. Bunch of little sensitive babies who can’t handle a pug vs pug BG.

No friend, AV was DOA. X-realm and 1.12 version junked it out the gate. You always had a chance of getting a “premade” in vanilla when you basically knew the whole team or their guilds. Please stop crying about queues, there is a hack that can get them to 3 minutes… it’s roll alliance.

X-realm and version 1.12 have no bearing on the decision of the Alliance playerbase to circumvent the queue limitations on group size (1 for AV, patched to 5) so they could stomp Horde Pugs with their custom group. Just admit it, you can’t PvP against Horde unless you are in a premade.
So what if we can’t? Who cares?

WSG queues are max 15 mins and normally sit at 7-10 mins. Just a heads up.
WSG is nearly 100% chance Pug vs Premade, how is that an option?
I thought that was phase 2 wpvp?

PvE server was always an option. Alliance are too sensitive to solo queue AV and have created huge wait times now despite being the bigger faction overall.
I am on PvE, why do you feel entitled to having alliance to kill in BGs?
Ever consider that other people just don’t enjoy the things you do?
Still haven’t made a case for why alliance should care about a horde problem.

I admit that whole heartedly but understand why.
Due to long queues it is not beneficial on horde side to AFK in a game or possibly not try and just quest in the battleground. You get enough rep from winning 95% of games so the rep farmers just play the objective.
Alliance, with instant queues has a lot of AFKs. In the first 5 minutes you can get near 500 honor, get booted for 15 minutes and be back in for another 500 honor, and that’s only when you get booted.
Also, the rep on alliance side is nil. You get maybe 200 from turn-ins and 100 every three games. So people tend to supplement during the battle.
All in all, alliance having a pre-made is the same as the Horde discord. You guys aren’t “premade” in terms of the queue but you’re all on voice and 95% are trying. You lost horribly with even odds, and blamed it on Paladin abilities. You cried so hard that Blizzard fixed it for you, be happy not sad.

You really think the alliance players stopped queuing for AV because they’d occasionally get into a semi-empty game due to a premade rejecting a queue, and not because of the 99% horde win rate due to a large number of imbalances in the battleground?
If so, you are saved. All your problems are over, since Alliance can’t premade any more. The masses of alliance players will race to queue to be camped non-stop in their inevitable 30 min loss with 200 honor and rep.
1: A lot of players went horde for the pvp racials being far superior.
2: This caused major imbalance issue on pvp server + most hardcore pvpers are on the horde side. Horde has way more people interested in pvp
3: This imbalance (caused by all the horde min/maxer) makes it that alliance has instant queue and not the horde
4: Because alliance had instant queues, they could premade easily and maximize win rate/honor gain and counter the fact that horde has a superior advantage mapwise/racial wise in PvP
5: Blizzard patched this because horde were losing far too much (my guess is 50/50), thus alliance can no longer premade and need to solo/5man queue vs a faction that has a map advantage/racial advantage
6: Alliances are now in WSG
7: Long queue time for horde in AV, because… of faction imbalance caused… by horde.
Tldr: its the horde fault you have long queue time. Premades were just a consequence of that imbalance.
