But considering how easy it was for Khadgar to open a portal to Azeroth I could see the iron horde opening some for goblins. But if they could, why would they need the dark portal? In fact why was the mission to close the dark portal a suicide mission when we could tp out?
Which considering that every single âexperimentâ with Sha corruption was a complete and utter failure, it seems odd that heâd continue along that line of discovery considering the Sha corruptions similarity to fel corruption.
Not even Garrosh himself was completely able to suppress the Sha corruption completely, as evidenced by his abandonment of Gorehowl in favour of Xalâatoh.
Blizzard spun it as the Sha of Pride overtaking Garrosh and exploiting his desire to lead the Horde to total domination at any cost, but thatâs always been an odd line for Garrosh to take since his pride has always been in his honor, specifically the honor of a Warrior.
Again, which the main criticism of MoP character. They took a character whose personality was almost entirely based on tradition and honor, turned him into someone he would have loathed, someone who aimed for victory at any cost, no matter the consequences to ally or enemy.
Iâd rather have the horde vs alliance war disappear. Iâm tired of us looking like villains all the time. Along with the sonic OC writing level of this story.
Considering the Iron Horde already had Blackfuse technology, as well as them being entrenched in certain areas (most notably Gorgrond) before we invaded Draenor, I always assumed that either Kairoz or the Infinite Dragonflight snuck them to Draenor sometime after Garrosh was âacceptedâ by Grommash, but long before they actually re-opened the Dark Portal.
Yeah it was.
Do you think that those distinctions are important? For all his strengths, Garrosh was never big on nuance. The way the Sha stole the mind of itâs victims in exchange for strength isnât massively different to way the Fel enslaved the Orcs.
Weâre talking about the Garrosh who saw Sylvanas as no different to Arthas in Silverpine and the same Garrosh who almost executed us in Stonetalon for assisting the Orc leader there.
No matter how you slice it, MoP Garrosh (including Theramore) may as well have not even been the same character to Cata Garrosh.
The only outcome from prolonged use of the Fel is a dependency upon it, while the Sha doesnât have any such properties attached to it. Furthermore, being inundated by the Fel corrupts not only the individual but generations of their descendants â while being saturated by Sha energies leaves absolutely no residual traces.
It really, really is.
Because he, like every leader of the Horde minus Sylvanas, views undeath as unnatural. You canât count this among your list of reasons why Garrosh is a villain, unless youâre willing to concede that Thrall, Saurfang, Lorthemar, Baine, Cairne, Liadrin, Halduron, Hamuul, Dezco, and Gallywix are also villains.
He executes a general who firebombed a civilian area, killing hundreds/thousands of women and children â and briefly thought you, the player character, complicit and similarly deserving of execution (despite this not being the case).
