1 button rotation + handheld PC = WIN

I’m looking forward to leveling up alts in TW dungeons with the 1 button rotation on my ROG Ally.

Anyone else with a handheld looking forward to this new feature?

I don’t think I could play this game on a handheld PC. I feel like the processing power of my tower and the graphics on my 32 inch monitors is just too much to pass up.

If I’m home, and my wife doesn’t need my desk for work, then I’ll obviously pick my desktop PC over my handheld PC.

However, now that I’ll be traveling more during the summer, it’s nice to bring along my handheld and be able to play WoW while chilling in the hotel.

I mean, it’s certainly an option and if it suits your lifestyle, then you should go for it. For me personally if I were traveling, I would simply just play when I got home. I don’t think I would want to compromise my feeling of Warcraft based on my place style experience between a couple hundred dollars in my hands and thousands of dollars on my desk. But we all have to do what makes sense for us.

given its about 80% of the damage output of a player not using it, you have fun with that lol

I am really seriously thinking of doing this. My only fear is the handheld over heating.
Because of the type C port you can hook up one of those movie VR glasses for better viewing. I will report back with my findings.

80%? That’s a lot of damage for no effort.

  1. It’s way lower than 80%. From the gcd restriction alone it’s going to be 70% assuming the one button rotation actually plays perfectly, realistically it is going to be more like 50%
  2. Bro literally said his use case was going to be leveling alts in TW dungeons lmao, he could be doing that now TW dungeons are easy as.

If all you need to play a game is one button, then you’re pretty easily entertained. Have fun out there.

thats the numbers some youtube streamer came up with. He showed his work so I assume its fairly accurate.

Rest assured of one thing…Ion H. is NOT gonna let anyone do mythic+ with a one key that hes put into the game. lol.
hes made it very clear this is for casual sorts and disabled players and not for DPS checks with any serious content

or 120% of the average LFR player not using it! jkjk

I have played a lot of WoW on my Steam Deck over the years and I have yet to have an overheating issue. Just keep the graphics on low and enjoy farming old content or doing dailies!

lol…yeah, it was a better player running the numbers in the video I saw.
it might actually be an increase in damage for some.

I can barely play it on my 17" laptop without straining my eyes at 1080P, let alone a tiny screen on a handheld. Pass.

60" at 4K has spoiled me.

I play on an 18" laptop and it looks beautiful! But I have a desktop, laptop, and handheld, all for gaming.

I know it will be better numbers for many of my alts that i have no idea how to play, at least until i get more comfortable playing them

My laptop plays the game just fine. My eyes are nearing 50 years old though and bifocals aren’t fun. Reading text on a handheld would be a nightmare for me.

What about 1 button tanking or healing lol

This kind of thing would of been perfect for WoD rep grinds and Siesburg quests
