How will this affect the “rampant” botting?
I thought it was against the rules to perform multiple actions using one keystroke?
I guess if its the same key over and over thats different?

Nobody’s ever thought that before.
I feel that as long as this one-button assist is disabled in everything aside from delves, follower dungeons, and overworld, it should be fine. It’s going to be way, way worse than doing your rotation normally both because of the gcd penalty and the rotation is likely incredibly unoptimized. It’s only for people who have accessibility issues.
My only concern is that if it is not disabled for group content, people will use it despite it being likely terrible and trolling with it.

That was about inputs and automation. Sequencers are random and you do have to push the button. It is not one button push and do your rotation.

No idea. Not enough context and tinfoil is too thick for me.
They’re coming out with a rotation assist system. One option will be one button that performs your rotation (at a GCD penalty). The sky is falling.

This should help out a ton on my ret paladin and crusader strikes.
i dont like the idea but people were already doing that with gse so whatever i guess.

The auto play tends to be bad in gachas people find interesting, like Blue Archive, Honkai, Nikke, etc.
If auto-rotation actually makes Mythic 0s, normal raiding, or such more accessible I think that might say more about clunky, bloated class design that makes things more convoluted to play for no good reason than about WoW becoming a phone game.

If you are a good player, this doesn’t hurt you. If you are a bad player, you’ll probably do lightly better.
Idk. People constantly qqing about all the hard carries in m+ and raid should be happy about this.

Most of the bad players I see don’t even press half their buttons. Like bm not using multi shot, fury not using ww, ret not using divine storm.
This isn’t a “clunkiness” problem. Its laziness and refusal to learn beyond button mashing.
