Nothing wrong with that. If that’s how you enjoy the game, then great, i support it.
I do have a question though.
If the combo’s and rotations were simpler, and didn’t require 8 or 9 buttons. Would you still use the macro? Would you use the addon?
Take Classic Warrior for instance. You largely only use 5 spells for dps. You have heroic strike, cleave, whirlwind, bloodthirst, and execute. And so long as you pay attention to when you press those(as in, a large group vs single target) and make sure that you prioritize execute, over bloodthirst, over heroicstrike/whirlwind. You’ll do super high dps without trying. More than enough to beat out most other classes and clear all content.
The most difficult thing I face on my warrior is having to keep moving to dps, because tanks love to back up and move around randomly in fights for some reason. But overall, I don’t need a macro for that. It’s pretty easy to do.
But then you look at Wrath Warrior, and now there’s like 5 other buttons you have to press. That, made me want to make a bunch of macros to compensate for the amount I had to press. If I had an addon that solved that, I would’ve used it.
