1-120 leveling?

Various posts in various threads claim it only took them (the shortest I’ve read) 3 days to get to 120.

I might as well start leveling alts, because reasons :wink: I just want to know if there’s any truth to these claims. If so what’s the method?

Or is it just good bait?

Took me almost 2 weeks to reach 120 on muh Mag’har. But I also have a 12 hour a day job.

3 days of play time. Not three straight days. Unless you can stay up for 72 hours.

there is an addon (in know it is/was for bfa content at first) which really helps with quest efficiency

i’m not entirely sure of the name but i will look because i have one more toon to level all the way (for heritage armor) and i absolutely hate leveling

I think it is possible… if you are tank and get instaque… but it is super booring.
Also, flying on Dreanor and flying on Legion.
I saw people do 110-120 in 8 hours.

Its possible but why would you want to do that to yourself?

Heirlooms, RaF account, BoA exp potions from BFA, Azeroth Auto Pilot addon would all help.

is that two weeks real time? Or 2 weeks game time, because I dont see you playing non-stop for 2 weeks.

People are referring to in-game time, actual time played. for instance you log on and play for 2 hours and log off and you don’t log on till the next day or any other day, you have still only played for 2 hours.

Pretty sure the time is back down to 23-28 hrs. If your an efficient leveler.

You really gotta know where to go. It’s great you can level just about anywhere, but there are still certain areas that will still yield the best XP for whatever lvl your at.

Download Azeroth Auto Pilot. Enable Warmode, mail your new alt some xp potions and equip those heirlooms… you’ll blast through leveling in no time.

I’ve done the same content for 10+ years lol i haven’t leveled alts because I’ve been bored of it lol.

So the quicker I can do it, the less pain and boredom there will be.

I just did a 1 to 110 and the /played is 3.5 days.

  • Full heirlooms all the way there.
  • Only did questing, no dungeons.
  • 30% Warmode bonus.

That char originally was a bank/AH alt for a while, but the /played time during that would be negligible since it was just logged into to get mail, list on the AH, and mail gold back to other alts. So it’s probably safe to say that the 1-110 journey had a /played of about three days.

I only did five to ten levels per session so it took probably two weeks-ish.

And if you’re leveling a monk it goes crazy fast, so much experience while you’ve got the Enlightenment buff.

Add to that a Human monk for another 10%. (10% Rep, not XP.)

My way of leveling from 1-120 has gone like this:

  • Every time I have a free boost from purchasing a new xpack, I boost a character that I don’t already have at max level.

Works like a charm, think the only characters I don’t have in the maxish range are a priest (which I have leveled to 70 something) and a druid (which I have leveled to 62). Just keep taking the boosts!!

I did in 9 hrs in one sitting to see how fast it could do it, and im by no means the most efficient

My maghar shaman took about 55hours played time.

But I min maxed hard.

Had heirlooms, the bfa levelling pots, zygors.

I quested vanilla in the quickest zones - silverpine, barrens, first part of Arathi, western plaugelands, did northrend and hyjal then jade forest. Used draenor xp pots and did all the bonus objectives and treasures to level - 90-100 honestly took me like 3hrs. Quick tip draenor pots cannot be used at level 100 and above but the fever persists. So I got the edge of level 99 and chugged another potion right before dinging which gave me another 20% boost for 1-2 hrs (can’t rmemebr how long it last). Also draenor treasures give great xp till 103 and less xp at 104 and 105 but no xp at 106. With the zygors addon- all the treasures are set with tom tom coordinates so u just follow the arrow

Then legion I only did the invasions.

All questing, 10% warmode and no dungeons or pvp.

Going to do a zanda mage when it comes out and that should be much faster.

Man really just do whatever you enjoy.

Pick zones you like do quest lines you enjoy do dungeons to break the monotony and queue for some BGs every now and then.

It’s much more fun if you try to make it about the journey and not the destination.

here is how u lvl quickly and efficient… download addon azerite auto-pilot… at lvl 20 follow arrow addon gives u for best pathing through quests all the way to 120… get it done in 2-3 days 4 hours a day

Dude That’s 8-12 hours. 20-120 is impossible in that time mate.

Is the Kara leveling still possible, having someone run you through Kara for a quick 10 levels? Did they nerf this?
