How is Blizzard going to address this? Buff the early content? Nerf the talents?
Early Content = MC/ONY/BWL/ZG and so on.
They have to tune the raids. It's the only thing that makes sense. They need to buff HP, dmg incoming, etc..
lol...Early content to me is questing in Westfall :)

No they don't. Take a look yourself
http://www.classicwowtalents.appspot.com/index.html?talent=1124125_1
The only dps classes with any real changes to their traditional dps spec is the fury warrior.
It isn't the talents that made the game easier.
I don't think they will address it. Get ready for faceroll.

They tuned it in the demo, buffed HP, dmg, etc. I mean player HP, dmg whatever.
Also there's the whole 1.11+ where threat almost doesn't matter because in 1.11 blizzard buffed both shield slam so that it scales in addition to it costing less ragerage.
And
They buffed taunt.
These changes made Vanilla content that shipped before naxx a trivial matter.
Also there's patch 1.7 where all the content before ZG was made easier by the increase in raid debuff slots from 8 to 16.

Some fights will be much easier, like a straight up dps race Magmadar.
Other fights will be slightly easier, like idiot check Baron Geddon.
There is no fight that will be the same difficulty as it was. Take that how you will.

Pretty much.
Itemization is also a problem. Are they going to use the new itemization?
When MC came out. There was little or no spell damage or spell hit.
So essentially what I'm seeing right now, is a wonky private server.

Lol start the retuning movement again! lol.
Wait, is there really no sharding?

Well then just face roll all that content and go for Naxx/AQ40.
If you want to add some difficulty split up your 40 man team into 2 20-man teams and do the raids.
Then it will be both harder and give you a chance to gear up quicker since loot only needs to be split among 20.

I don't want to PvP against people in Naxx gear. I don't even want to be in Naxx gear and PvP against other people in Naxx gear. Naxx and some AQ is the worst level of itemization for PvP. Greens is fun, blues is fun, tier 1 is fun, tier 2 is fun.

And how much did the shield slam change increase tanks TPS output by?
How much did the raid debuff slots increase raid dps by?

With gated content you won't see that for a long time.

Can't you just roll with less than 40 people? Would 25 be challenging? What am I missing in these threads?

Yeah this, why not do this? This sounds like the goal anyway

Well considering its staged, people wont be doing AQ or Naxx for quite a while...

The point of doing the content is that it's actually fun and kinda challenging.
But when you nerf the crap out of it; may as well not be content any more because it's just a loot Piñata you stand in line for to do the one raid that's difficult.

So do that 40 man raid with 20. There's your challenge.

Horse is already out of the barn on this. The official Demo we saw was basically a franken-expansion of mixed together combat mechanics and tuning. We're sadly long past the point of debating a tuned frankenpatch of vanilla that's authentic.
It seems as tho they want to trivialize mc as a design decision between having dire maul and 16 debuff slots and 1.12 talents
