dont mind pvp gear being out.
i think its very bad for the game tho, for the pvp gear to be in it’s final state of progressive itemization, when that gear power level is made to be on par with the very very very last items released in the entirety of vanilla wow.
seems like grossly overpowered level of gear too soon.
PVP gear should be better than PVE gear for PVP. Hopefully they nerf PVE gear so as not to harm the fun PVP experience. Better to never drop AQ and NAX

Take a look at the “Standing” row under “Last Week”.
That standing is what dictates what rank you end up with week to week, and it’s based on your Honor for the week relative to the other members of your faction on that server.
That said, in the past, ranks 12-14 were super competitive, because you literally had to be Standing #1 to even hit Rank 14, and you had to be at least standing #3 to stay at Rank 13 and not de-rank to 12.
OP appears to be contending that at some point towards the end of Vanilla’s lifespan, this strict ranking ladder was expanded to be a % of the server population, rather than static # of slots for the top ranks. This means you can have many more people hitting rank 13/14 per week, rather than the 1 HWL/GM, 2 WL/M per week etc.
This could be true, I wouldn’t know. I was done with my Rank 14 grind well before patch 1.12 went live, and stopped paying attention to the ranking mechanics at that point.

the majority of people in my guild have already started raid-logging so im right there with the crowd that is ready for pvp to come out. there really is no reason to delay it at this point. at least give us bgs.

Not true, wasn’t uncommon in Wrath/Cata for people to get Elite weapons before Heroic Modes were available, i did it quite a few times.
except the good pve’ers will still have all the best gear because they will just use their current pve gear to get the best pvp gear in order to pve lol.
The original post was complqining that the pvp gear was overpowered,but imo its by far the hardest part if the game,I’m not suggesting they change anything because we are recreqting our vanilla experience,but if they gonna keep going with classic thru and beyond naxx and finish some of what was in the qorks before bc came out,i could see them altering the pvp system and gear.
