1st orb, super easy
2nd orb, okay not that bad
3rd orb, a bit annoying especially when RNG is involved, but doable
4th orb, super easy
5th orb, pet battle? Really? But once I got the 3 pets I needed, Jeremy Feasel wasn’t that bad, two tries before he went down
6th orb…“OMG! Is this it for me?” Thank GOODNESS for the community that was all doing it today, I wouldn’t have got it done without those sweet players who unsealed the chest
7th? I haven’t gotten that far, but what am I getting myself into XD, it seems to just get harder and harder.

the rat part was a pain i did not know you can get into room 6 with the item we got from the muffin lol
and i had rats that got stuck on the baskets behind the door
and before you ask it took me 3 tries on lock one

I was scared of orb 6. I didn’t have the items to unlock the chest, but other players figured it out. I was standing there and the chest just appeared. i jumped for joy. Half way to the bike

i also did not have half the items for the alters but i did have 4 alters done
8 isn’t even hard, it’s just tedious.

That was me, but after those 3 fails, I nailed it all to the way to the end in one swoop.

I’m chugging along with the rest of you, but i seriously think they went way overboard with the complexity of this thing, for the amount of effort, the bike should be solid gold with free valor spitting out of the exhaust from time to time.

Almost failed on 6 I think it was, targeting the rats, got one, it was stuck in the corner before nature room, got it, moved on, came back through to double check, another rat in exact same place … got lucky on that one!
Yep, after about lock 4, I’m all about the “make sure I didn’t leave a rat” … was super fun!

I think hard is a matter of perspective. Some people LOVE pet battles, or puzzles. I thought 7 went easier and less time consuming than 6, but that’s just me.
I found 2 rats on top of each other in the corner behind the ogre flashing eyes head. They weren’t moving around much. I can see how some might be easy to miss.
not sure anything ever gets easier the higher it goes. Just look at Torghast

7 was genuinely some of the worst content I’ve ever experienced in this game and I don’t know how they expected people to be able to do it without the solver tool. I dread the thought that there could still potentially be something worse in the remaining 4 pillars.

I’m pretty sure the devs have outright stated that they design these puzzles assuming people will use tools and guides to solve them. If those 2 things didn’t exist, the puzzles would have to be a LOT easier.

The math behind that kinda puzzle isn’t “that” hard to do. I worked it out with a pen and paper cuz it was before anyone had coded anything. Took longer to write out what all the statues did.
You don’t need all the items. if you have some of the items needed for an alter then gear it, and just stand at the alter you need and wait for other players to come by, who may have all the items, and you will get the credit. just keep your torch burning and check your pet to see if it disappeared and resummon it, they disappear without notice. at least Blizz was kink enough to allow some of us the ability to complete the quest without the need to have all the items at hand. Worst orb is the owl statues I had to retry it a few times once was my own fault cause I did it on heroic 40mins before daily restart lol.
