Dude… you do realize they’re not just going to come out and SAY they don’t have it, right? That’s like the one honest kid in class saying their dog ate their homework. Even if it was true, the cynics would be jumping all over that and calling BS.

You don’t know and I don’t know. All we know is what they said. Now, to be fair, if they came out and said, “We don’t have the 1.5 data and we don’t have the time and resources to recreate the original version…” I’d criticize them for half-assing the project. Not going the extra mile to create the best experience. But honestly I’d be less disappointed. I think that’s a better excuse than ‘We think old AV was too hard and took too long’. That’s SO anti-Vanilla.

Agreed. Furthermore if they are going to charge the same monthly charge as they do for the one with constant development, then it is not unreasonable to expect them to put effort into recreating content if need be for a static game.

It may only be one part of the game, but for many players it was a large portion of the endgame.
