I think they were posting for someone else over this being the case for them. In any case one of my fellow guildmates did not get a set until this week. As my guild had the experience of one type of tier dropping for the majority of our kills. To where this week we stacked the raid to disallow one type of tier from dropping which is what got him a two set.
So I don’t think it’s too far fetched for this to be a possibility, certainly though not to the extent they seem to be explaining it. Yet there are a lot of people I know that have put in a ton of effort and still are struggling to at least have a four set. With the other ones getting their full set in the span of two weeks. This was the case for me, yet with how spectacularly bad drop rates have been this expansion. For high priority items like trinekts and so forth, I feel that pretty much everyone and anyone is entitled to complain a little about loot.

What appears to be your main, just so happens to be a Female Venthyr MW Monk.
If I look at your Monks season 2 Raider IO, then I can see that you heal but also tank keys of level 15, 16 and 17.

That reddit account has a removed topic about “accidentally outing another trans person”.
The Gayborhood could very likely be a LGBTQ+ community. At least I hope it is, otherwise it’s poking fun.

The reason I’m annoyed is there’s genuine issues with WoW, and we have liars like yourself making up stuff that didn’t happen just to make the game look worse.

I been doing my tier grind on 3 warriors the same way: max LFR rolls, 1-2 M+ rolls, 1-2 PVP rolls. That is quite a grind to do the available T28 LFR bosses x3, 1-4 M+ x3, and 1250-2500 rated honor x3 every week. I’ve done this grind for 4 weeks and I have 4 tier piece across all 3 characters total, 2 on one and 1 on each of the others.
Putting it all together in calculator, I have done right around 66 rolls that could have given a tier piece between boss kills and vault rolls, and gotten 4. This put my drop rate at 16.5% chance.

Some people have extreme bad luck. I am one of those people. I have been farming Invincible’s Reins since 2008 and I haven’t got it yet.
Given that patch 3.3 was released in December of 2009, I find this hard to believe.

5/11M here with 7/11H week 1, and have been clearing down heroic and normal splits since. Only two people in the core roster (and trials!) don’t have 4-set now after funnel help from alts and trading. I even have 5 piece, though I’m pretty lucky, so this isn’t the norm for the vast majority of players.
OP, there’s no need to lie.
I’ve killed 61 bosses in that place and had a tier piece drop twice for me and it was a duplicate, I had one from the vault that came from the M+ selection and one was given to me by someone else. That’s like 3% based on drops I have received myself, it’s damn well close enough to zero.
Just because you don’t want to show how lucky you have been does not mean you can come here and tell us to stop complaining that RNG is crap when it comes to borrowed power. At least I am not scared to show my mains progression and tell the truth about how hard it is for the average player to get tier pieces or specific items.
Guys we are missing the bigger picture here
We should support OP to get creation catalyst sooner
It’s not RNG when it comes to raid drops, if you’re in an actual raiding guild doing the raids properly, when you kill 5 bosses, you have enough gear for half of your raid to get 1 piece if you could split it evenly.
Once someone has a piece, they can trade the next one if it’s the same or lower ilvl.
Stop crying and start raiding.
You said you had 2 pieces, 1 of them was a duplicate and you traded, and then someone else traded you one of theirs, that’s called equal opportunity for trading.
P.S. You don’t get to cry you don’t have enough tier pieces, you didn’t bother doing LFR at all for another chance at them. Put in some effort you lazy whiner.

It’s already fishy. If they are raiding in a 6/11 M guild. And have done splits. I’m sure they would have gotten people to trade etc.
Not even running splits we had people trading week 2. So this is 100% fake.
Awesome how we’ve come to a place where playing a game isn’t the “point”…have fun playing a game? Psh not if i don’t have some spiffy pixels proving I had fun…
