This is honestly a really frustrating and kind of dumb design choice. I know the simple solution is just do not lose 4 games but sometimes it happens. Comps are not good for you, someone D/cs, or you just lose. I had someone que up while being a nurse on call
All I want to do is cap alts but going up against players in full gear makes it very difficult to get the 3 wins you need. After wasting 30 minutes of time to get 1 que just to go 2-4 is basically a waste of time and not worth subbing for

Agreed, don’t know why it’s not a conquest per round won system. Maybe because it’s not as clear in the main UI? Still dumb if so.

the only problem i see with conquest per win is, do you get max amount of conquest at 6 wins? which would people complain about because they’d be like “why do i have to win 6 rounds to get the max amount of conquest if 6 wins is rare.”
statistically speaking, most of your games will be 3-3 once you get to the rating you should be at.
the 0 conquest for 2-4 wouldn’t be so bad if the queues weren’t so long, which is the main problem.
or they should give SOME conquest for losing the shuffle, like they do with rbgs. like maybe 20-30 or something.

conquest should be per round won. Everyone, including blizzard, knows this. They simply just refuse to make the change.

Well no but typically within a raidboss attempt you don’t have multiple subwipes before you have to completely reset and try again.
but if you go 2-4 in 2s you would get 2 games worth of conquest.

Yeah it’s a net negative with regards to cr as you’ve lost more games than you won, but you did win 2 games and should be rewarded with conquest for those wins.

Unfortunately fixing this would just make healers cap quicker and stop playing. Increasing your que times.

One, if you lose, you shouldnt get rewarded.

Two, why do you expect to win against people already geared. Take your losses, drop down in rating to where you are on a more even field, get wins, get conquest, get better gear, climb.
Conquest itself is easy to get between all of the different sources and then there are crafted itema which for pvp doesnt matter if they are r5. Throw it up on public order with cheapest mats and pvp mat with whatever tip you feel like and boom 5

Dawg honestly conquest doesnt matter when theres a cap on it. But congrats on the 2 pces you could get before hitting the cap
Some small amount of conquest just for staying to the end would be my suggestion. Small like 15 or 20. Not nothing, but enough to make sticking it out for 2 more rounds if you are 0-4 worthwhile, without grinding losses becoming a viable gearing path.

you won 2 rounds? It should not be based on % of rounds won it should be on how many rounds you win that way it doesnt feel like a total waste of time when you decided to dedicate 30 minutes of your day to just wait for a que to pop
This is a contributing factor as to why people are quitting pvp. There are far to many very lame and horrible design decisions that Blizzard is making solely for profit. Because if you have to play more you will pay longer. It is pathetic
Not sure why this is a problem. Would you rather get less for 3:3 so you get some for 2:4, even though you’re most likely going 50/50 for win/loss?
I guess I can see the argument made for the players at the very bottom.
