Honestly in pvp, classes should never revolve around 1 ability, still wrapping my head around on why chill streak is frost dks main burst output.
Only if youâre a melee that stands in the open and mashes your 3 buttons while having elite mobility/stun/CC/survivability.
Itâs completely able (and is) to be countered by good players. But itâs incredibly, incredibly punishing to bad players, at the cost of 2 casts for any mage, regardless of skill.
Itâs a bit too punishing to bad players for itâs ease-of-use. So expect them (OP included) to be thrilled itâs gone.
They were never real mage mains then to begin with you can always tell who is a real main to the class see example affliction locks/outlaw rogues/marksman/enhance
they arent in the best shape atm yet people play them
good riddance to the bad mages

And those specs you said I give them respect because they still play it, not because OP abilities, but because they like it
rogues should not be allowed to move when they are attacked by a warrior because it only delays their inevitable death anyway.

Just watched a Kalani alpha vid. He said all 3 mage specs are bad, especially fire.
And i have watched other people say other specs are bad too its alpha stuff still changing stufff needs tuning alot of people are BIAS as hell toward there class
i watched a few duels on alpha and mages won a decent amount were they the strongest? No but they were not bad
When they run Flame Cannon plus GPyro, you canât even retaliate from range in BGâs.
Iâm not saying it wasnât busted but blizzard went beyond a nerf and straight up gutted mage.
Might just be because Iâm a rogue, but this G pyro nerf seems unnecessary. Looks like this nerf is for the people who donât know how to interrupt, or focus the freecasting mage.
Not every class has a million interrupts .
Anyway it was not a 1-1 matter . GPyro was nuts in group PvP.
The CD is too long . It should be around 5-10 secs . 15 is too much .
make it 8 minutes like Army of the dead, then itâll be perfect
With temp shield gone, gpie cd, shimmer changes and gpie cast increase it really seems like an over the top reaction.
Remember, no more bracers, blaster master, no more lucid. Fires gonna be in a bad spot.
It should be impossible for a mage to freecast G pyro in a group situation, unless itâs a group of mages. Add more people, add more CC and inturupts, or just blow up the mage.
