There is no actual timer though so how can I say anything more than it might improve the content? I have tried Torghast that isnāt the issue.
I will evenually get around to testing the torments but I am in no real hurry, I will let them āfixā the obvious bugs and test a more finished product.
So, in the context of this subject thread, where someone has criticized the OP for posting this because only two people were negative about the debuffs, I was asking if there were those in alpha who have done Torghast and have positive comments about it.
Since you are not one of them, thereās nothing further to be discussed.
Please, once you have actually done Torghast, and have played with the time pressure debuffs, do come back and post your thoughts, I would very much like to read them.
You arenāt understanding though. There IS no time pressure in a lot of those Torghast modes. And even in the Torghast mode that there is torments it is restricted to higher levels so guess what most people arenāt going to need to be concerned with this.
Any you obviously missed the nuance of my comment about ārealā timers.
I donāt have positive things to say about them but it has nothing to do with any timer. That is where my comment about a real timer might improve them comes in.
No you just want comments from people who like/enjoy the torments. You arenāt soliciting comments from people who have positive things to say about Torghast.
I am thinking you might not even be able to tell the difference but go ahead keep spamming this forum.
I think it has great potential to break it. I think if theyāre wanting this to be a great feature, then this needs to be the opposite of M+ in terms of difficulty. Where the focus is more on the players curiosity and want to explore in a forever scaling content per floor rather than having to worry about a soft enrage while in there.
What is there to explore? I have been in about 10 of them so far and they are all boring greyish backgrounds and you just endlessly kill mobs. Adding a real timer might actually give you something to think about.
Didnāt say there was a ton of things to explore. I think Blizzard should revise the way theyāre doing it to be more about exploration and risks as you climb higher and higher. I made this suggestion in a different thread and still think it would be far superior than just adding a timer element.
The more risk, the higher the reward. That āsomething to think aboutā could be all of the things above instead of just tossing a timer on it. We can have both the dungeon crawl, and sprint in the same expansion. Different types of content for different types of players.
They are giving more rewards for higher ārisksā (well once they fix the power creep in there) but they want people to actually earn those rewards not cheat their way to them which is where torments come in.
Most players complaining about the time pressure arenāt going to be encountering the levels that the time pressure start. Those high levels are most the mythic plus dungeon/raider difficulty and those people are used to timers anyway.
