Here I am leveling in The Vortex Pinnacleā¦ tank obviously doesnāt know the instance, but hey, I have patience. The healer then starts cussing at the tank. At the end of the dungeon, I send a message to the tank, telling him that he did a good job for first time at the instance, and not to get bothered by a-holes like the healer.
The thing isā¦I sent that message to the healer. He never said anything back.

Well, at least the healer learned that he or she was being a butthead. Fortunately, I havenāt done anything like that myself though I worry about it anytime I start talking about people on whispers.
One time, I whispered my friend and he was apparently whispering to his gf and ended up whsipering some mushy stuff to me that he intended to whisper to her instead. I saw he was having a bit of a moment and I just backed off. Yuck.
In the back of my head I feel like I vaguely remember messaging a person or two. But I donāt think Iāve said anything super serious. Otherwise Iād remember.
Yup it happens all the time in Roleplay. This is why party chat is used sometimes.

I have to be very conscious of what channel Iām typing to, especially after replying to whispers.
I replied to a whisper once and about an hour after that, I went to say something in chat and accidentally sent it to the guy that whispered me before. LOL he was nice about it though.

No not me but I had this demon hunter talk trash on me. In party chat and make excuses that I had the wrong guy when I called him out. Thinking he was talking to his buddy and forgotten he was in our group. He insisted I had the wrong guy but I could clearly see his name and what he wrote in party chat.
I like pretending to mistype in party chat. I pretend that Iām deeply involved in Spongebob ERP in whispers.
And then I just say āmtā and never acknowledge it.

Do it all the time through bnet, forget to look at which friend replied last therefore reply to the wrong one.
This one time i meant to inspect someone but accidentally clicked invite instead, and then i got stuck talking to some rando and doing quests with them just because i liked their transmog and wanted a better look at it.
Someone thought I was the person they had been ERPing earlier that day because that character and the one I was one had a 1 letter difference in spelling. I was a bit surprised with the way they said hello.
I canāt recall a time that I have, but Iāve gotten āuwuā(I hate it) and sexual messages sent to me that arenāt intended for me. The other day while leveling an alt some one āaccidentallyā whispered me letting me know that their farts smelled like cheese 
.
Iāve received ā¦ wrong messages. Of the not family friendly variety. One time they whispered me again and apologized.
It wasnāt that bad so I laughed it off and said weāve all made mistakes.
But sending to the wrong person? More often than I can count.
Yea Iāve done this accidentally but doing it on purpose is also quite fun
All the time, especially when talking trash about someone - Iāll accidentally send the message to them. Have the same problem with texting and FB.
Yeah sometimes I message my wife stuff that I meant to tell my girlfriend, it gets confusing sometimes.
