🐍 Why should Sethrak be an Allied/Playable Race? 8.3 and beyond

Jinyu, Ankoan. Whatever. Either or would be cool as an AR. Only 100 Void Elves in existence and they still became allied race? If population is the reason, why Void Elf become allied race?

Ankoans and Jinyus have trouble showing facial emotions, not to mention bringing jinyus and not hozens would be a sacrilege for the horde, as hozen also help the horde as Jinyus helps ally.
And the hozen have a complicated skeleton for the devs to work with.
Ankoans are even worse, for if one of the things that made worgen more bad were their faces frozen in a perma snarl. Ankoans can be worse. I have seen more people using worgen after the renovation.

In addition, it may be best to promote jinyus / ankoans, if you prefer them, where they can be most debated.

I have nothing positive or motivating to talk about in deference to sethraks.

All linked to water, and we spend more time on earth on missions than on water, which is an element not much loved by players.

My memories of Vashrrj make me avoid aquatic environments and I always appreciate nazjatar having had little activity in the waters.

Not really, no.

Nelves with fish features.

So do Sethrak. Gonna be hard to fit gear on them.

Plenty of people played them.

Old race got their first update, nice.

So what? Mechagnomes have a technology theme and we spend more time away from factories then we do near them. Same with nelves and their being dead racial. And orcs with their warlock/hunter pet racials.

People dont love being forced to swim around. Racial abilities with a water theme have nothing to do with being forced to play underwater.

Sethrak is worgen based and not complicated like hozen’s

It’s complicated in the sense that it has that long neck and the giant hood.

I’m going to pretend taurens, worgen among others are an example of perfection in this matter.

and if we’re going to have a bunch of junkgnomes that can’t even dress pants, boots or shirt, I don’t know why we can’t have sethraks that can’t wear equipment for the head, when a lot of player already dispenses with showing helmets.

If anyone wants to make a mega tread to promote ankoans and argue about them in more detail, it would be nice because I’m not willing to give up sethraks by ankoans, because their fans find sethraks less viaveable and that for some reason, should those who prefer sethrak change your mind.

Didn’t Sethrak do slavery? Are you sure our boy Anduin will be OK adding them to the faction?

Forgot about those. They shouldn’t have been made that way. Just Blizzard being dumb like they’ve normally been all xpac.

Not as complicated as you think. Their hood/neck region has some similar shape to the neck of the female worgen. I was trying on helms earlier and a ton of helms do not cover the neck or clip very badly with the mane/ruff they have.

Doesn’t bother me none. I either wear helms that don’t cut into the neck or no helm at all. Prefer it that way. And it would be how I’d have my Sethrak if they’re added. Headdress/tiara/face plates or nothing at all. :+1:

And yeah, then there are the mechagnomes as I see you recalled. That in itself should blow the helmet argument out of the water.

You didn’t even do the quests in the area? There are two groups!
A faithless, pro-slavery-led Korthek, who are keen to promote slavery, are keen to unleash Mithrax and control his power to create a Sethrak empire, including reneging on his Loa Sethraliss and Vorrik’s group that protects the seals that hold the monster in check. loyal followers of Sethraliss and do not practice slavery against vulperas and other peoples of Vol’dum.

Either you didn’t do the quests or this without arguments to promote the sale of your fish.

Dark irons were also quite complicated before they were absorbed by the alliance and even committed slavery.
Watch out for the word “they committed”, today they don’t.

And stop using an argument that allows the inclusion of sethraks as a possible allied race for the alliance? Not even! If Blizzard has used this junkgnome solution it can apply to sethraks and other races.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Keep up the love and hope for Sethrak! And may your holiday wishes come true, the rough things in your life get better and the day be good for you.

Allied races are sub races only

Vulpera.

Vulpera are a sub race of goblin, as they are small and like science

Nope. They have nothing to do with goblins and have shown no predilection toward explosives.

They’re a new race. Not a subrace.

So we could have Jinyus on Ally and would it be okay if Hozens were forgotten, when Hozens were helping the Horde as well as Jinyus helping Ally?
Alright!

Ok. Continue in a state of denial and stating this.

So Ankoans are just hight elves.
So Mogus are just draeneis.
So Sethraks are just Worgen.

Yes, they are small. And no, their theme does not involve any machine-related development.

Yes. Very few people actually care about Hozen enough to even remember they exist.

Again, the junkgnomes shouldn’t have been made that way. It was stupid on blizzards end, but as I said earlier, I forgot blizzard did that. I’m certain they can do that with helmets for sethrak.

Nobody is asking you to do this. I simply forgot about junkergnomes and their limitations.

Sethrak would be Horde, if anything.

The Alliance got the “good” part of the Dark Iron, with Moira being opposed to most of the horrible stuff the Dark Irons did during the Cataclysm and after. Before that, she still wasn’t fully responsible for everything bad they did. Her husband, the King of the Dark Iron, also wanted to free their people from Ragnaros’ control.

The good part of the Sethrak are the ones who worship Sethraliss, and it would be ridiculous if they joined the Alliance after we brought back their god.

And after we defeated Mythrax and assisted Vorrik in killing Korthek and toppling the bad sethrak empire.
