OP woke up today and decided to bring chaos on the table… man it must be boring where you live.
I mean, it might. Is there precedent?
Eh I take it he’s w/e age Blizz needs him to be at this point. He went from being a welp, to w/e he was in MoP and now he’s basically a full dragon. Give it 12 more minutes I’m sure he’ll be Senegos sized.
Edit: also I’m not talking about the whole sex thing these freaks are on about, I mean just his age. It seems to be w/e Blizz needs it to be atm.
Nope. The only other case that got this weird was the time a dragon fell in love with a blue angel…and Azuregos still refuses to make comments on that situation.
He’s a drake now. An adolescent dragon. He’s nowhere near an aspect in size. He isn’t even the same size as Ebyssian.
don’t… bring that up. ever. we are already beyond hope, but maybe the next generation will never know TM2 was a thing.
That makes me wonder: when is a dragon considered an adult?
Like, beings with shorter lifespans have shorter age phases, right?
A dog is an adult by the time they’re 1 year old.
Humans at 18.
So a dragon that’s essentially immortal must be still considered a child for like several hundreds of years at least, right?
(I suppose that applies to other races like draenei, elves and dracthyr as well).
Calm down Satan.
What? He’s half the size of Sabellian and Sabellian is half the size of the aspects lol
yeah but he was just a puny welp 10 years ago and since dragons live thousands of years you’d expect him to be a welp even today since 10 years in a dragon’s lifespan is a blink of the eye
Didn’t we help Wrathion get hatched and something?
It looks like it’s just based on size. We call the babies(?) whelps/whelplings, the medium sized non baby looking ones drakes, then the larger ones like the Aspects dragons.
And it also could be that a dragon is also considered an adult if they can create a visage form. Because with odd ball exception of Wrathion, I can’t recall any whelp or drake using a visage form.
good thing im 13
’I Can’t Believe My Dragon Prince Is This Cute!'
Coming to Crunchy Roll Q1 2023
Our baby is all grown up and looking fly.
Doesn’t Wrathion age differently because of the titan tech or whatever that was used on his egg? Isn’t it implied that he aged way faster than other dragons, anyway?
Also, why are we applying human-centric aging conventions on a superior, and MUCH DIFFERENT, species such as a dragon?
Either way, Dragons age differently than we do.
He may only be alive for however many years the community cannot decide on, but he certainly isn’t mentally or physically 12, in both true and visage forms.
I don’t know why people use his size as a drake to gauge his age. There are literally dragons in this game who are vastly older than him that are the same size as him. If anything, him finally being a drake means he IS a legal adult by dragon standards. Sabellian calls him a “whelp” to belittle him, which is similar to irl people who are in their 40s calling 18-25 year olds “kid”. Like, no, he isn’t literally a child, but he is called that because he is still young, although an adult.
It is similar to Wings of Fire. In that book series, if I recall, dragons are mentally and physically adults when they are 7, which from there, they age slower.
I’m so tired of this argument. Wrathion is not a literal 12 year old like a human 12 year old is.
With the logic people are spitting in this thread, the 50000 year old anime dragon that takes an appearance and mentality of an 8 year old would be “legal” in their eyes, just because the character is “technically over 18”.
Wrathion would easily pass the Harkness test.
Yes and a logical assumption would be that they age slower considering how long they live.
Meh, not really.
So all the events from Cataclysm up to Dragonflight has only been 12 years?
If I lived on Azeroth i’d go nuts
Also, this timeline you linked is fun to read
Yes really. The only reason Wrathion isn’t still a barely out of the egg whelp is because he’s a plot device.
