So you just want your name to be pink in chat and wear the class armor type/sets? The average paladin is pretty hardcore in their faith, trying to walk on both sides of the fence doesn’t seem like it would work.
I applaud your dedication to this quote, but honestly, spamming quotes does not a discussion make, nor an argument win.
"Blood Elves were chosen as the Horde expansion race in the Burning Crusade because designers were thrilled with how well Samwise had redesigned the classic wood elves with the night elves. And they knew that, “one day, high elves are going to have to get a facelift, too."
“I don’t think anyone has abused high elves to this degree,” Metzen said."

With this quote I can prove that High Elves were given to the Horde, with intent and Dev confirmation.
It has no bearing on today’s WoW, and there is no ‘cannon’ that cannot be changed.
Go ahead and argue for the Race/ Class combo you want; I’m always hoping for Blood Elven Druids, but to just spam that one quote to everyone who negates your opinion is not proving anything.
What the explanation for Human paladins bypassing this Void/Light “rule”? Humans(and dwarves) are void cursed titan-forged. The curse of flesh is a Void curse created by Yogg-Saron. Yet human and dwarves can call upon the light with no ill effects. It makes no sense.
All humans and dwarves are void entites as well. They are void cursed titan-forged. Their original form is that of stone and metal. Their current fleshy forms are a result of becoming void infused. Yet they can cast Light spells just fine. Can you explain to me how they don’t explode?
Then humans and dwarves should not be able to be Paladins since they are void infused titan-forged. The Curse of flesh is of void origin and completely altered the looks and physiology of the titan-forged into fleshy vrykul/humans. Void and Light being unable to coexist doesn’t fit in with the human backstory.
And unfortunately responsible for the demise of the story.
Lol no. A void elf would literally die if they are exposed too much holy energy.
Incorrect, they are granted their light powers from anshe, whom is a being of light.
All VE priests in lore is shadow priests. The other spec are untouched for gameplay. Forsaken priests is basically shadow as well except Alonso faol, but he is not apart of the forsaken faction.
Lol what. No they are not. I think you need to learn your lore.
Curse of flesh =/= being remade from the void itself.
Then I guess I have to start posting here as a void elf Holy Priest to show people I am not exploding.
Ironically enough, what if that’s how Blizzard end’s the Sylvanas story? She tries holy priest and explodes. The party ques for a new healer and life goes on.
Great, and people will still tell you that your charecter does not exist per lore.
That’s their problem.
Meanwhile I will be doing it.
Cool, still not getting your paladin.
But I want it.
/insert random child tantrum here.
Btw, if ppl wants to play anti-paladins so bad. Look up 2nd generation death knight lore and rp as a ex-paladin turned death knight.
Seriously, if we get Void Elf Paladins before Gnome and Night Elf Paladins, I’ll lose it.
Ok if Void Elf Paladins are justified in the lore then so are Forsaken Paladins and in fact should be put into the game before Void elf ones are .
Forsaken Paladins have been asked for , for years and have been so long before Void Elves we even a glimmer of a brain fart in some ones mind over at Blizz.
Sooner or later they likely will - but only for the Lightforged Forsaken which have been hinted at.
Gnomes are too small and night elves are too wild.
Again, all Alliance core races should be able to be paladins. For void elves, they need to confirm if all void elves (current and future ones) all have to go through a similar process shown in the unlock questline.
Void elves’ issue is that plot point that needs clarification.
Nah. They could just never explain it and we’ll all keep playing, leaving it up to the players to speculate and play around with.
