★ PSA: Void Elf Paladins are justified in the Lore ★

Maybe? Wouldn’t be hard to say yes to that or no to it. Not like we ever had a count of every single one in existence.

to which I say, does it matter?

If their abilities give them the same capabilities of Druids and they get the class to show that rather than make some new class with the exact same effects… whats the difference?

Yeah, that is a fair valid point. But who knows, nor you or me shall have the full answer

 Dunno, I am too lazy at the moment to find the difference.

I just figure there isn’t any harm in giving the class to the Blood Elves.

Doubly so if Void Elf Paladin is, as it appears to be, on the table for Blizzard.

Tauren Paladins are not exactly paladins and neither are Zandalari.

Even Zandalari Druids and Kul Tiran Druids aren’t quite what we’re used to for those classes.

Both the Nightborne and the Blood Elves have shown that they can use the Arcane to emulate many druids abilities and focus’.

I don’t see it as much different myself.

I dunno, I think it could cause people to fully roll Blood Elves if giving them access to Druids on Horde, and make people roll less of the other races. And I am not really fond of the idea of Void Elf Paladins either.

It’ll probably be better if Blood Elves stay as the only “Elf Paladin” and Night Elves stay as the only “Elf Druid”, in my own opinion of course.

I personally never understood this issue with population.

It has no bearing on anything. People should just be allowed to play what they want and class shouldn’t be restricted by something as random as player populations.

Lore and story makes sense to put restrictions on some classes, at least in specific setups, like Light using Paladins for void elves does’t make sense, but void using paladins for void elves would if there was lore for it. (Or class skin setups and such).

Very few folk play mechagnomes, does that mean they shouldn’t exist? I adore all of mine and my interest in WoW would diminish some without them. How is that right?

And if someone does love their Blood Elves then great. blizzard made a great story for them and other qualities players tend to like. Nothing wrong with any of that.

I agree, people should be allowed to play as any race/class combo. But I think we should also remove the factions too.

I don’t know that I’m exactly in the Any Race/Class combo setup myself but I am certainly for increasing the available classes across the board for all races.

Faction wise? Eh I’d do a soft faction less system. Factions still exist but you can group up and make guilds across factions. Still separate quests for the most part but with a way to “Mercenary in” for the opposites side quests and help friends and such.

I like the Factions being separate and that they’re at odds… but the entire wars and our toons being super tied to them is silly.

Could do something like FF14. Just make factions separate and only make it viable for PVP/BGs, but open borders for players to visit other cities and open language barriers.

I could live with that.

And YES! Open up that language barrier.

Actually what I really want language wise is quests to learn other languages and not just limited to player race languages.

(common and orcish should be just purchase a tome in SW and Org. Or Booty Bay or something.)

I wonder what cross raiding is gonna look like! That’s gonna be so exciting!

Warcraft elves look so much better than FF elves.

Exactly.

While Light wielding Paladins don’t make sense (And Riftblades are just our warriors) this could be used as a reason to add the paladin class with the Void Skin setup thats been going around.

With blizzard saying they’re considering options I wouldn’t rule it out.
