“Post hidden by community flags”

Maybe blizz needs to do that . I say 2 per account per every week and have it be reset on raid lockouts days. I would also make it where there is catagories that they have to file it under .It might be a bit too strict to only have 2 a week but obviously this forum community isn’t mature enough to be able to handle having 10+ whatever it is now .

As of rn there is nothing and people can flag anything they see fit for any reason at all .

I think people just flag because they think it’s funny

not all. don’t lump all mvp’s in with metro.

Pad out the character limit by using < stuff > without the spaces, this creates hidden characters in a tag.

They flagged this for asking a question? The mods need to see who is flagging and disable their ability to do so. It is OBVIOUSLY being abused if someone can’t ask a question without the post being hidden by users.

Why!? Maybe because the forums are a toxic cesspool as it is, let alone if people were using fowl language. If people can’t express their feelings or concerns without resorting to obscenities, maybe they need to step away from the computer and take a walk or something.

these type of posts usually get censored pretty quickly by the mods.

I don’t agree that the forums are a “toxic cesspool” at all. As for cussing, you’re right in the sense that having a polite society is important but I still stand by my statement that there is no such thing as a bad word.

There is a time and place and a use for everything. Just think about all the times something happened and you cussed up a storm.
Made you feel better, didn’t it? Even if you felt the need to do it alone, it has it’s value.

I agree it shouldn’t be something that’s used regularly. Takes the fun out of it.

Depends on whether you swore about something that happened, or got all up in someone’s face, swearing at them and blaming them for what happened. Big difference.

You can have people not actually reply or like your post but still flag you…

A consequence of removing the downvote feature.

I made one talking about being selected for the US census, same thing happened  There wasn’t really a suitable “off topic” forum, for that.

It was flagged, hidden, without a single response

The thing just kind of spooked me, getting the US census thing and thinking it was a scam or something (directs you online, now.)

The “Ermigerd don’t criticize my precccious” crowd are to blame. You’d think you were insulting them personally the way they get upset when someone doesn’t enjoy what they do. Apparently they lack the gonads to just like something without everyone agreeing with them.

Come on, be serious. If that were to happen, there would be no posts on this forum at all.

The flag is a feature that’s abused.

People have used it since pretty early on to silence those whose post they disapprove of or disagree with.

They need to bring back down votes because if people can’t give a post a :-1: through that simple mechanism they will use another.

If it got flagged, then that means that there are players that don’t like someone being negative about 8.3. Which means that there are people who like 8.3 and will flag posts who talk trash about it.

You hit the nail on the head. The haters can believe people really do like and have fun with the game.

It means that you upset someone who works for Blizzard/Activsion becuase I have seen some hardcore troll posts that have yet to be flagged and have been up for months

This is exactly how you did it.

You could get over 10,000 likes and having just one forum monitor disagree with you? Yea, you’re out.
