Edit: apparently we do have a rigging for jetpacks that I forgot about! Bring on the Goblin and Gnome packs!
I have a feeling that’s a whole new rig that’s complicated to create with dynamic flying and separate animations for every race.
SWTOR can do it, because it’s all one rig, same model for every race.
Have you seen how different races hang from dragon claws when they carry us? One of my characters gets held by his head. And my female Nelf is gripped by her chest. Just one side, though.

THey could do it like the ones for the ICC airship battle where you had to equip plus put on your bar like a on use trinket.
Would be fun for short trips like the Goblin rocket jump racial .
Spent plenty of time when Veid was a goblin during original Mists rocket jumping from balcony to baslcony in shrine.

Given that there are jetpack races in Undermine, they could add functional ones as mounts in the future.
Then I rescind my statement! I didn’t realize we had a rig up for those. But I haven’t been down in Undermine yet.

We had jetpacks in Mechagon. The job is already half-done.

The jet packs in Mechagon were actually fun. Got to zip all over the place. I’d take one of those in Undermine.

There are several types and flavors of jetpacks in the game. There’s the Draenor garrison one, the one in Forbidden reach that got you around the platforms, the one in Siren Isle (okay, more rocket like, but still), the mechagon one…
