The great thing about world of Warcraft is that its players have tons of options. There is something for everyone!
Don’t like where your class is on the dps meter? Go play SOD
Don’t like the pace of fresh leveling? Go play SOD or even retail
Hate warriors? Go play retail
Don’t like other classes doing some random activity in fresh better than your class? Go play SOD or retail
“Go play SOD” is fantastic advice, and I think a lot of people should try it if you don’t like fresh since nobody is required to play it

It will never not be funny that SoD gave hybrids everything they could have ever wanted and more, yet these people insist on continuing to sh*t up classic forums with “give my hybrid a taunt” or some other rubbish

I never said you had to. It’s good advice. If something about anniversary is bothering you I recommend SOD. It fixes all that stuff
Likewise, if you cant play Level 60 WoW with instant mail to alts and Dual Spec (obvious lie is obvious), feel free to sashay your soggy Assad back to any of the Era servers where you belong.

“Go play X” has lost all meaning simply due to the many different versions of WoW we have now, so anyone who unironically uses it as an argument just gets it thrown back in their face

They quickly found out by playing SoD that when hybrids can do pure DPS things and get to heal and keep all the powerful tools that made them unique and fun and are now suddenly god tier and they still aren’t winning in PvP vs other better players on the same class or VS another hybrid; suddenly its not so great anymore.
Then they get on vanilla where timing and class knowledge and little nuance can win or fail a fight… They can’t cope and suddenly they want back that SoD retail like power factor, but just for their class and to hell with everyone else because what ever class they’re playing is “incomplete” and needs some buffs so they can be a pure class while also ignoring the entire rest if their class kit.

Youre wrong, we’ve been doing this same leveling grind for decades now. Theres nothing new about it and its just off putting for normal people. We should have some changes to make it more accessible.

Classic Vanilla anniversary edition is the most user friendly and accessible version of wow ever made. It has ZERO barrier to entry granting you more access to Quest mobs with sharding, more access to dungeons via post 1.10 itemized gear thats 3X better than OG vanilla, Dungeons and Raids all in final patch (catch up mechanic) post 4 - 5 different direct nerf state, and we have the Apex of power factor 1.12 classes that are easily 2X more powerful than originally launched.
Not only this, but the subscription fee is effectively only 25% the cost of its original value of what 15 dollars could buy in 2004.
Not only this but Vanilla wow has absolutely no rating requirements of any kind to gain access to gear, most everything you can get is via RNG drop on EZ mode bosses and NPC’s who in this 1.12 state have had most of their remaining combat mechanics nerfed or removed. In addition the PVP sysyem has been nerefed 3 different times in Classic already in addition to the 1.12 nerfs.
This is as easy an MMO as it gets, if you need more accessible content then perhaps it is time to find a different game.

There is already way faster leveling on cata, retail, and even SOD.
You can save time on your gaming experience today by switching to SOD like I swapped to Geico

Well yeah, but many times people select a game they have problems with. Like slow leveling, for example. Sod, cata and retail have fast leveling, if they wish to not waste their time on the one version of wow witu slow leveling
Game 1. 2 and 3 have fast leveling, but they’ll pick game 4 which does not. They possibly made a mistake by picking the wrong game when SOD is the right one
Nah, the problem is people will enjoy their favorite version and then complain about 1 or 2 things they don’t like about it. Then the community gangs up on them and tells them to go play a different version or game. Like sure, their 1 or 2 complaints are fixed there but its still not the version they enjoy playing.
