This achievement which is part of the TWW expansion meta “A Farewell to Arms” contains 3 BFA world quests achievements. They are “Revenge is Best Served Speedily” (8% completion rate), “A Most Efficient Apocalypse” (8% completion rate) and finally “it’s Really Getting Out of Hand” achievement (unknown completion rate) source is wowhead. You have 45, 30 and 20 sec to do each WQ respectively, and if you fail you are SOL and need to wait weeks until the WQ spawn again. The 3rd achievement was easy from what I can tell but the other 2 as evident by these numbers….I’ll let you be the judge of that. Best of luck to us all we gonna need a whole lotta of it. These Achievements were problematic then and they will be problematic now because nothing changed based on reading wowhead.
I tested the 3rd achievement “it’s Really Getting Out of Hands”, from what I can tell it’s gonna be almost impossible even not doable for a level 80 to aggro 40 mobs at once. So yeah, we’re screwed here big time.
Alts for the 3 WQ achievements won’t help here unless they have BFA unlocked already. I tried with new alts to unlock WQ’s and it’s a lotta of work based on google AI search and there are no guides showing what to needs to be done. So, you are on your own. From what I have read to unlock WQ’s for alts it takes a massive amount of work per alt and imo is not worth it.
Island of Mechagon for “Mecha Done” achievement which is part of TWW meta is locked for new alts, I don’t even know where to begin how to unlock it. Nazjatar for “Undersea Usurper” achievement which is part of the TWW meta is………. You guessed it locked for alts too. Have fun unlocking it if you can. For Horde alts, Stormsong Valley, Durstvar and Kul’Tiras are locked for your alts too and need to be unlocked if you need help from alts there. The good thing you have to have an Alliance alt whether you like it or not and to know which quest to pick up and which to ditch to get all the story from an Alliance point of view is worse than getting the fel bike. So good luck with that.
I did both meta-Achievements for SL “Back from the Byond”, and for DF “A World Awoken”. Both were a blast and I enjoyed the ride. The current meta “A Farewell to Arms” experience has been nothing but a disaster. It was rushed with lots of bugs, and I had to put on my Detective hat so to speak to finish the story from alliance side correctly and not mess it up. I’m wondering if I’ll be able to finish on time now, if I’m able to finish at all based on this roll out. Testing was barley done for this meta from what I can tell, and I’m far out into this achievement.
The meta was supposed to be the cream of the crest of an expansion. However, you screwed it all up. I rank it at 2/10. I’m being generous here by the way.

… wha?
A TWW achievement that wants BfA WQs?
WTF is the point in that?
The achievement “A Farewell to Arms” was added in TWW but is a BFA meta achievement that awards a Jani mount. Everything in it takes place in BFA.

OK, so they added a new achievement for an expansion 3 expansions old that relies on stuff like speedrunning and rare WQs, knowing that any expansion past the previous one is jank and barely even functions?
I dunno what they were thinking with that.
The individual achievements needed for the Meta existed when BFA was current… they probably thought that active players would already have some portion of them.

I did all the achievements OP listed a couple weeks ago.
They are very much doable, and very easy to do. The only one that took more than one attempt was “It’s Really Getting Out of Hand” because other players were working on it at the same time and killing the enemies I aggro’d.
Just look up the achievements on wowhead and the comments tell you what to do.

Imagine thinking the TWW meta achievement has already been added to the game, considering we’re only in the first season.
I’ve seen one other person (aside from myself) using the Jani mount, so yeah it’s 100% doable.

I’ve seen a few people with it.
Have even been helping a few of my guildies work on it too.
These meta achievements are fun to work on. They take time, but that’s kinda the point lol.
These achievements were obnoxious to get and I’d support not having anything like them ever again.

All I need is the Hand WQ and 2 Mythic Islands as they are on a rotation, whenever I did do any you got what you got so it could take weeks and weeks to get those last 2 and that’s ok.
I got most of it all done in 2018/2019
There’s nothing in there for Undermine, which is an entire zone about to be added. Nor anything for whatever zone we’ll be in during S3. I guess they’ll add achievements for that? I don’t remember when the DF meta achievement was added, but I don’t remember it being added in S1.
Edit: “A World Awoken” was added in 10.2.6.
You’re being obtuse for no reason.
The achievement Grok shared has been considered “Part 1” of TWW Meta Achievement.
Yes, we don’t have the entirety of it, but we at least know what we need to do for patches 11.0-11.0.7.
Please don’t tell me I need to complete horde achievements for the meta? I’m Alliance and usually only play one character.
Yes, you do. BfA requires both Horde and Alliance participation since the expansion was divided between the two factions.

So what you were saying is you actually have to do the content and be level appropriate for everything to go right? I’m shocked!
I also did those 3 world quests in the past month. I had nearly everything done before the Meta was announced because I like achievements.
You really need to go to Wowhead for each one. They all had excellent comments that were very helpful. They are very doable.
And you CAN do them on Alts!!
