I have 3 items left to finish this achievement. Hunting color, casting a fish net in Azure Span and taking 1 last legendary photo on Thaldraszus. This week could be the week to finish the achieve and get Taivan plus 3 more mounts which would be very nice. Do I think it will happen??? Probably not.
Yesterday at 9:00 PM est time I saw the hunt event jump from Thaldraszsu to Ohna’ran Plains. I also noted that when the hunt is in Thaldraszus and its rift time near it, the hunt can bug out if you fly over the rift area first to get to the hunt. Based on that I calculate a 95% chance that the fishing net will skip this Tuesday Azure Plaines and jump to something else like it did 2 weeks ago. So those of you thinking you can cast the net on Tuesday in Azure Span, it’s a safe bet it’s not fixed yet based on that alone and you won’t be able to check mark this portion of the achievement.
As far as the hunt goes, I’m about 90 hunts or so without my last hunting color dropping. My experience is as follow: I do about 6 or 7 hunts early and more throughout the day but with less frequency and get disappointed when I open the satchel and find out there is no hunting color dropping. The disappointment builds up around 6 or 7 hunts early in the morning and I just give up and do something else or take a 15 – whatever break. It’s nothing but disappointment after disappointment. Their intension here is to beef up the statistics and keep the books looking good since the players doing it are nothing but a number. That’s my opinion. This is one of the worse rng chase ever.
“Legendary photo taking” will happen when the world quest is in the right place and who knows when will that happen.
To end on a positive note, I’ll get this achievement done sooner or later and I hear Taivan is now big again so thank you for that.
