‘This item doesn’t go into that container’ error

This just started happening yesterday. Every time I try to sort my bag it says this error: “This bag does not go into this container”. I’m not a hunter or a warlock and I don’t have any profession bags. I thought it was bagnon so I uninstalled and tried combuctor but it still won’t work and still gives me that error. It only happens on one character. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It is an add-on issue, it doesn’t happen with the standard interface.

Its happening with bagnon for me.

It was the primal nether for me. Once I moved that manually into my bank I could use the addon sorting/cleaning without issue. Also, if you get stuck in the move loop just /reload and it stops.

I do reload, and then when I go to sort my bags again, it happens all over again. Nothing I moved or discarded helped the situation. In the end I just switched to ArkInventory, which is… very different from what I’m used to. Hoping that when I get Bagnon or Combuctor back it’ll be fixed.

They released a new update that said it was supposed to fix this issue… I’m still having the issue!!! UUuuuugh… Nothing fixed :frowning:

Experiencing the same issue

Experiencing this issue with one character, it happens with Light Feathers, motes of x, and ammunition.
Does not happen on characters without similar items.

I have the same issue on my main, but my pally alt (boosted) doesnt have this issue. i use bagnon. I think its an issue with the keyring being considered a “bag”, because my pally doesnt have any keys and therefore no keyring.

Bangon sort feature works on my alt that has no keyring. Doesnt work on my main.

Hi, having the same issue as well, I ended up having to use an addon outside of wowdevs to help with bag sorting.

Hi, I tried an old addon that I used to use - Bankstack - now using it currently to get around the wowdev bag sort errors may work for you.

The game is only 15 years old. Give them time to sort out the bugs.
