When a show’s introduction is so iconic it’s unforgivable to skip it.
Pokemon indigo league. Don’t you ever skip that intro. Or the outro.

The Jane the Virgin intros are awesome but I don’t want to see them anymore in the 5th time watching, I already know Rafael’s plan to hide the tunnels under the hotel, I already know Petra was scheming with her eye patch mama against her long lost sister, I’m ready to start.

No matter how good I think the intro is, at some point I’ll probably skip it if I’m gonna be watching dozens of episodes or more.

Basically every anime. Unless it was the 4kids (I think that was what it was called) One Piece. Then you may skip… or watch regular One Piece instead lol.
Although, for me, I’ve watched Inuyasha and Initial D about 10-15 times fully each and I can’t skip the intro. To good.

Intros should build antici… …pation…
Intros should have the viewer wanting, expecting and receiving a taste of what to expect.
Intros need to be iconic as the show(s) they are introducing.

I don’t skip the violet evergarden intro because it’s beautiful! Or American Dad intro because I want to see what outfit Roger is wearing

This is the most important part of an intro = to the substance the intro provides graphically.
You can have a visually stunning and amazing intro, but if the music is bad or doesn’t fit the theme… it kinda ruins it.
I think the only intros I watched that didn’t have a catchy song was Chucky TV series

After seeing all 76 episodes of that one crazy anime on CN… Yeah, once is enough for me.
I skip that one where all 16 horses come out and you have to watch each one doing the little neigh and trick. I can’t remember what it is, it’s not animated
They also walk sideways. Like cool that you can do that but this show is not about horses or people who have horses so why is this the intro??
I also skip the one where she’s just getting out of cars. Get back in that car and go home, there’s only drama out there
