Did you miss the part about how the OP ran 20 dungeons today and did not receive any gear upgrades? All of the non-crafting things you mentioned require this thing called luck. Now luck is a funny thing. Some people have it, and others (like poor OP) do not. Last week when I raided, not one piece of cloth gear dropped off the bosses. Also last week (and this week) the world boss, those super rares, etc., dropped zero gear. Which means my options and OPs options are limited to buying gear. Does that really sound like a “fun way to gear up?” I thought not.

No, this is literally by far the easiest it has ever been by leaps and bounds. I almost wish it wasn’t as easy. Legion was easier than wod and panda, BFA and SL were the same, this is just ludicrous how easy it is.
If you talk softly to a dog it’ll at least act cute and let you pet it. The people on here got nothing on dogs lmao.
OP on the character he has typed his post on has done no raid bosses, no m+ and no regular mythics. currently looked pretty decked out in pvp gear at best
Full pvp gear set. So he complains about running heroic dungeons, yet he’s doing pvp?seems like he’s getting gear from his content of choice. its not hard to see what people have.

If you notice, this toon also has not done any of the above. Why? Because it is only used to post on the forums. Why? Because at one point it was my horde main and it got to trust level 3 on the forums, so I have always stayed posting on it to keep the trust level up.
So please do not judge someone by the toon they post on the forums with. Perhaps his main dungeon running toon is a different one.

ok how about this hes a lying troll its hard to believe if not impossible that he runs 20 dungeons and gets nothing. sorry. Also if the troll wants to be taken seriously maybe he should post on his main 
I ran a raid and got nothing. I ran several dungeons to get ready for the raid and got nothing. I killed all the rares and got nothing. Heck, back in Pandaria my luck was so bad that the only thing I ever got was gloves. It became a meme in the guild I’m in. I am known for the person in the raid that gets the hand-me-downs. That’s how bad my luck is.
But I don’t mind because in the real world, I can always get a great parking spot. Even during the Christmas season, I will find a parking spot right up front. That is where my luck lays and after shopping I am thankful for it.

if you did all that content you should get a vault item at the end of the week. thats RNG protection. then better luck next week 
I did get a piece of gear out of the vault. It wasn’t good. Had crappy stats. I would much rather they give us justice/valor or some type of currency and allow us to go to a vendor to get a piece of our choice. It is depressing to get garbage gear from the vault. 
and thank you regarding the luck. Hopefully it will be good. It probably won’t, but I’m used to that.
If you refuse the item, you do get a currency… your legitimacy is tanking quite fast rn.
gearing is good until end game then its blizzard typical garbage systems.

My legitimacy is tanking because I would much rather receive a currency that allows me to go to a vendor and get a piece of gear of my choice vs getting garbage gear or a worthless currency? OK… if you say so.
no in your last post you literally stated that it would be nice if blizzard did this, and im telling you they actually do. you get coins for either rerolls or being able to obtain more gear from the vault.
So, you are saying is that I get a currency from the raid that I can take to a vendor and purchase the exact pieces of gear that I need? This is news to me. So far, I’ve not gotten any of this currency from the raid. Nor have I seen this vendor where I can exchange this currency for the pieces of gear I need. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to what this currency is called and where this vendor is as it would solve my RNG issue.

We are literally 1 week into the season.
Why are you expecting to be fully geared 1 week into a likely 5-7 month patch?
The more gear options Blizzard throws at us, the shorter the lifespan of any given content drop. We freaking SPRINT through this game at a pace that would have been inconceivable prior to Legion.
Not from raids, but from the great vault, if nothing suits you:

What if you don’t like any of the loot rewards offered from your Great Vault? Well, there is an option for that. If you don’t like your choices you will be offered the option to take 
Aspects’ Token of Merit instead.

You will receive 2 if you complete one objective.

You will receive 4 if you complete two objectives.

You will receive 6 if you complete three or more objectives.
Unless these are useless, they do offer alternatives i’ve never used them myself so i’d guess you could also be right.
