Thanks for the system info all. It looks like a hotfix is in the works for this particular issue though I do not have an ETA on when that will go live but it is actively being worked on. If I get any further updates I will post them.

I launch the game, it goes to black screen with a hand icon replacing the mouse and then the wow application crashes.

I think I figured out a fix. in the windows forumspeople were flushing their dhcp. I am on a mac and I couldn’t get in at all. I was just able to get in immediately after going into network settings → my network device (ethernet in my case) → Advanced … → “Renew DHCP Lease”

This worked for me, maybe it works for you!

I offer legitimate thanks for the update and prompt action. I would still like to convey a /rude to the mac support team while we have your attention though, because we simply don’t get the same quality of gaming experience PC users do. Not trying to be a Karen here but it is what it is after a few expansion cycles, someone has to tell you guys.

I tried this and it didn’t work for me unfortunately.

Tried this. Still get black screen, then crash.
