Finally had a Star (not a Talent) for the Headless Horseman appear in the Grid. I used an Upgrade Gadget on him, and I didn’t get the stars.
I had spent most of my Gold trying to churn the Grid over and over for about a week. I did some Heroics and Arclight Surges to get the 900 Gold to use an Upgrade Gadget.
I placed the Gadget to the right of the Horseman. His slot turned blue and the cost changed from 90 to 900.
I make the purchase.
I go to look at him… He’s still Green (Uncommon). My Gold is down 90, not 900. The Gadget didn’t work.
Any other mini I would shake it off as annoying/disappointing. But when it’s on a mini that’s only available for a limited time, and he hasn’t been appearing in the Grid for me in the first place (first time in nearly 2 weeks since unlocking him)… Ugh!
